    Early Season Schedules

Boston and LA have similar records at this point, with Boston having a slightly better record of 14-10 compared to LA's 14-11. Tonight's game is meaningful to the rivalry but won't mean much a couple of months from now.

Nobody knows what trades will be made by 3/15, what players will get injured and what teams will start playing much better or much worse when the playoff begin.

In looking at Boston vs. LA's schedules so far, there is a huge difference in the quality of the opponents they have played.

LA has played 17 games against teams that as of right now will be in the playoffs. Their record against those teams is 7-10.

Boston has only played 9 of their 24 games against those same playoff teams. Their record is 3-6 against those teams.

LA is 7-1 against non-playoff teams while Boston is 11-4 agsinst non-playoff teams.

Boston has played 16 home games and 8 road games.
LA has played 13 home games and 12 road games.
LA is considerably better then Boston at home but Boston is a considerably better road team.

Boston leads the NBA is least points allowed per game, while LA leads the Western Conference and is 4th overall in the NBA.

Both teams are in the lower half of the league in points per game.

Boston has won 9 of their last 10 (and 10 of 12)....Lakers are 4-6

Kobe shot 1 of 10 in the 4th qtr in Philly while Bynum was having a monster game...as Skip Bayless just said, Kobe doesn't get it....

    Re: Early Season Schedules

Boston has played twice as many home games then road games and have had the easiest schedule in the NBA so far.

    Skip Bayless? LOL

Kobe has been to the NBA Finals 7 times, I think he gets it...

And some of them don't get it either.  Don't waste your time on this one, Duke - he knows everything!!
Did you know koME scored 40 points in a row in one game?
Did you  know Darko Milicic is the all-time leading scorer in T-Wolves history?
Did you know Bill Russell had to be surrouded by great players to win?
