RR out while continuing to recover from ACL injury, KO dealing with plantar fasciitis, Sully dealing with GF / legal issues, new coach, no true / proven point guard, no true / proven center!

One year of pain, could = a decade of gains

WOW,  you need a reality check!!  It takes at least FIVE YEARS to build through the draft and that only works if you get it right on TWO of those years.  It's one thing to dream and another to be realistic!  Only in Boston  Missingteeth

Please work on your comprehension skills! What part of my post are you referring to? The subject line and first post are related to the 2014 draft and getting a top pick!

And you need to work on your comprehension skills! What part of my post are you referring to?

The 2014 draft is going to be loaded with talent! Teams drafting 1-5 have a good chance of getting a star / franchise player!

I am guessing you are a Knicks fan? If yes, how is that working for ya?

I don't believe you will be getting a TOP FIVE pick.  The Celtics will finish with about 35 wins which will not be enough to make playoffs and pretty much put the C's out of the running of a top 10 or better.  Enjoy!

We agree to disagree! The Cs will struggle to get 25+ wins this season! No PG, new coach, no interior defense, etc.

     Regular Season Records + Seeds

    Eastern Conference:

    • 1st – Miami Heat (60-22) – They’re 2 time champions. They’ll still rest a little for the playoffs however.
    • 2nd – Chicago Bulls (58-24) – Rose will get used to everything after a month or two, and they finish on a great run.
    • 3rd – Indiana Pacers (57-25) – Paul George plays like a superstar, Hibbert stays as a top 5 center and bench helps.
    • 4th – Brooklyn Nets (53-29) – Takes a few months for chemistry, but they finish will a very strong finish.
    • 5th – New York Knicks (52-30) – They seem to do pretty well during the regular season, and Metta helps give a tad of D.
    • 6th – Atlanta Hawks (46-36) – New and improved from last season. Josh Smith was a pain to watch.
    • 7th – Cleveland Cavaliers (43-39) Irving leads the Cavs back to the playoffs. Bennett plays well at end of season.
    • 8th – Detroit Pistons (41-41) I see them getting Jennings from FA. If they do, they secure the 8th seed for the playoffs.
    • 9th – Washington Wizards (39-43) Wall missed 22 games due to injury, and they play well, but not enough.
    • 10th – Toronto Raptors (39-43) Washington won in the tie breaker. Another disappointing year for the Raptors.
    • 11th – Orlando Magic (34-48) Oladipo has a solid year with 14 ppg, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.3 steals.
    • 12th – Boston Celtics (30-52) Danny Ainge tried not to tank, but it didn’t get him very far.
    • 13th – Charlotte Bobcats (27-55) Go Hornets! Lord have mercy on the poor Bobcats, they never get far.
    • 14th – Milwaukee Bucks (24-58) They haven’t made a single move this off-season that makes you not scratch your head.
    • 15th – Philadelphia 76ers (19-63) Yay Sam Hinkie! You accomplished your goal, tank all day.

I dont buy this. The Hawks do not end up that high, nor the Bucks that low.

Agreed, both teams should be better than the Cs! The Hawks picked up Milsap and Schroder! The Bucks added Knight and Mayo!
