Re: Experts Rank Celts #2 in the East

Celtics and Lakers will both win 54-58 games and be the 2 seed in their conferences. Book it.

Kinda like how they were equally old/flawed 3/4 seeds this past season only the C's had more heart/guts (and an easier team to play in rd 2) as they went farther than LA in the playoffs for the 2nd year in a row. The fact that the Sixers were a weak 2nd round team tho takes nothing away from Boston bringing Miami to 7 and being up 3-2 on the champs. Had they faced OKC they would have won or gone down with more fight, in 6-7 games, then the cowardly selfish Fakers did losing shamefully in 5.

LA has too many ?'s and too many things that all have to go right for not a few of them to go wrong and that makes it most likely that they go no farther than the West Finals, where Durant, Ibaka, Harden and Howard stopper Perk and Nash killer Westbrook will beat them.

Boston is deeper, younger and should face none of the growing pains, injuries (knock on wood) or coaching issues (Brown = clown) that LA has. But they also face the same 'conference finals as the best they can go' prediction, as they need an upgrade in the frontcourt, someone proven who can rebound and help KG, before I say they have a great chance to win it all. Of course Boston has the young assets and draft picks to solve their assumed mid-season issue, where LA's main issues can't be solved by a trade (ego's/injuries/coaching/the system/no depth) and even if they could the team doesn't have the ability/assets/picks to make one.

In Response to Re: Experts Rank Celts #2 in the East : nut you mean that stud Bradley who has endured a number of shoulder dislocations this season, including three in the postseason?  Had TWO SHOULDER SURGERIES during the offseason?  Throw in a ankle surgery which caused him to drop in the draft, all while only being in the league TWO YEARS?

No, dumazz. I was speaking of Courtney Lee. Did you even read the original post? C Lee shot 40% from three. 6'5" and athletic. Good defender. Him! Not AB. AB will be a good one someday, though.

Rankings mean nothing. It's all about who wins it all. However, Boston and Miami are miles above the rest of the teams in the NBA.

The picture you posted of KG walking off the floor with an injured AB is exactly what the C's are all about! A tough TEAM with a never ending desire to compete and win!TEAM that takes on the personality of their head coach and star player!

I love that picture! Thanks for sharing!
