I wouldn't mind them at least trying it. While I'm a little concerned about Pierce covering quicker SGs, Green needs to get more minutes.

I have been calling for it all year.
I hope Doc keeps it up.
It works!!!
Everything works against Portland right now. They are terrible.
Portland has lost to Brooklyn, Detroit and Washington this week.
This is true lol. -

Still can't believe how the Lakers lost to Portland.
Maybe the Lakers are just a crappy team, no?

Re PP's quickness at the 2.
Is Green quick and versatile enough to play at the 2 w/ PP at his old 3 spot?
Or is that too out of the box for Doc's military mind?

You are right Fierce there is trouble in Faker land:So here's what we know about the Lakers: They still don't like playing on the road, where they are 1-4 straight up and against the spread. They don't have an outside shooting threat, other than Bryant. Pau Gasol is averaging only 9.3 points over his past four games. While he's battling tendonitis in both knees, he doesn't seem to be a fit in D'Antoni's system.

Green covers the SG with no problem. It works.
Wow don't know why that didn't come to my mind. Good point and I agree. -

C - Garnett
PF - Sullinger
SF - Green
SG - Pierce
PG - Rondo
Assuming no trades (when that time comes around), this is the starting lineup i'd like to see. Sully > Bass for rebounding.
What I hope we can see later is Gortat at that C position...

In response to Kirk6's comment:
I'll try calling him again!!And then their SG has to cover either Green or Pierce and gets overpowered.
Someone who's opinion Rivers respects needs to tell him this.

Still waiting for Doc to get it.
Doc can be as stubborn as a mule.Maybe Green needs to whack him over the head with a 2x4 to get his attention.
