    FIRE DOC

I had it already, it is time to get rid of Doc River and his predictable plays. We need a new mentality team beggining from taking the ball out of Mr Point Forward (Pierce) and let the young guns play the game. The guys playing better should be on the court period, like on every other team.

It is time to move on from old school coaching, the rookies must play or we will never know how good they could be.

Sully must play every day, KG 4, Green 3, Lee 2 and Rondo, everybody else to play minutes by production, selfish players stay on the bench the longer.

Paul Pierce stop huging the ball, playing without heart and stop calling plays, otherwise stay on the bench.

It's not going to happen.  Celtics ownership will have to fire Danny Ainge first.

well then let's do that too!!!

right about now, you could take a paper plate, and draw a happy face on it with a sharpie and then tape it to rivers' seat back where he used to sit during a game and we'd probably do better that way!!!

rivers has obviously PASSED his expiration date of RESPECT and "HAVING THE EAR" of this entire team.  and ainge is a tone deaf idiot who cannot judge talent and assemble a roster (jeff green @ 9million, jason collins for any amount of money, even free, then allow doc to ice darko back to the old country, etc, etc, etc, etc)

the routine is exceedingly old.  pitino got fired after signing MANY MANY RUINOUS CONTRACTS and doing HORRIBLE TRADES and DRAFTING.  don't look now, but DANNY really HAS A GOOD START on that legacy.  jeff green at DOUBLE THE PAYCHECK (with no other suitors in play) that he was BEFORE the heart surgery?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????  and he stunk before the heart surgery!

Its not time to give up, yet (although I have to admit the picture is bleak).   Last year this time, the picture was also bleak.  We have a lot of new guys still trying to come together.  There's still hope and still time, especially with ONE trade that brings a big man who can rebound and score inside.  We have a good coach despite what Acie thinks - he's proven he can bring these guys back and pull a team together.

Rondo, Pierce, KG, Green, Terry, and others have to get better at their crafts.  We need Bradley back.   I'm glad Doc and Danny aren't the kind of guys who give up easily and just want to "tank" the season by blowing up the team.

By the way why would you fire Doc?  The guy has gotten into two finals and a hair from a third. The players are responsible not Doc.  The team is not executing because they got old and too many new people.  Doc is not a miracle worker, age and inferior personnel are too blame.  Let's see if Bradley is as good as we thought he'd be.  We go on a small run maybe we can move some of these guys that don't fit.

And if you blame someone second (after father Time) for our team being old and not having the right personnel - its the GM.   The coach is working with what he has and clearly, his stars are older and his younger players (Rondo and Green) have not yet stepped up.

They have not.  Ainge is responsible but each move he made seemed to make sense.  The one that never made sense was not getting a big man of impact after Perk left. Nobody in their right mind could have thought after last year with Garnett as the only big we could repeat last year's performance.  We were lucky things fell our way and we grabbed it and almost got into the finals. Not this year.  I hope Ainge can make a trade that brings someone that can play with KG without it we are headed down.

Doc has nothing left in his plays book and his practice of not playing rookies has not opened any door for the Celtics. You know that somebody had to go down for Bradle to shine.  The Celtics need to attack the basket by penetrating, we are only playing to the left side of the basket and nobody is cutting, so we are not getting open looks.
Another problem with Doc is that he has to much respect for Pierce and does not have the guts to sit him when he is playing like crap and forcing plays.

We do not have the best personnel, but we do not have the worse neither and losing to the Kings in such a bad way reminded me the times of M L Carr and Pittino.

Hey I don't disagree with any of what you say?   It is just that Pierce is all we have on offense.  That is how bad it is?  Rondo hasn't picked it up and Garnett doesn't play enough.  Where are Green, Bass, Lee and Terry? Nowhere to be found. So Pierce gets the ball and gets surrounded by three guys.  Doc has no players who can take leadership on the team but Pierce and Garnett. That is the problem.

GM's fire coaches all the time... usually to save their own necks.

Coaches are hired to be fired.

If doc quits instead of being fired.... DA would be okay with that too... as long as he saves his own job.

    Life's a beach.

Who knows how the C's do come playoff time.. look at last year.. but lets be honest.. last year was a fluke, thats not something u see very often.. not expecting a repeat but..  that said we can only speak to what we see now..

and we look terrible and infocused and confused... I was never crazy about Doc as a coach.. I still believe 2008 was more the Big 3 and some really good help than Docs mastermind. Three HOF's still playing near the top of the game makes coaches look brilliant.. esp ones like KG.. who's a coach on the floor and prob the guy more responsible for the C's togetherness than Doc.

DA hasnt done much since 07-08 either.. Frankly i dont feel real good about him either..

Both them both.. time to clean out the pipes

IT DOESNT MATTER WHO IS COACHING THEM, THEY ARE ALL OLD AND PAST THEIR PRIME (TERRY,PIERCE,GARNETT). ITS TIME FOR AINGE TO STEP UP AND CLEAN HOUSE (MAYBE GET SOME YOUNGER PLAYERS IN A TRADE) OR JUST SUCK UNTIL THEIR CONTRACTS RUN OUT.

We have PP KG and JT that are old.   The rest are relatively young.  We have young guys but Doc will not give them big time minutes. Sully could help solve a huge problem- rebounds if he played more.  I am not sure Ainge could have brought in any big time players other than Terry.  Funny that Lee can't fit in on our team.  Doc is just as big a part of the problems as the players are.  Do what you always do and most of the time you will get the same results.  I am not quite yet in the Fire Doc list but it is getting closer.  He has to put his guys in position to succeed.  As far as I know he did it once with Orlando,  once with the C's withe 3 HOF's. (which I think a ton of coaches could have done).    Yes  Doc plays a huge part in this as well.
