It's useless. This board is horribly run. I just don't need the aggrivation. I'm taking a break from this for a liitle while. I can't believe that what should be the Boston Celtics on the Frontburner is now the LA Times. Pathetic.

I don't see any poster's style that resembles GREENKILLER.  It appears the
moderators some how got him to stop posting.  So they deserve some credit
for that.  On the other hand, it seems there is some out of the
ordinary annoyances going on. Some of it is entertaining, but if it
goes too far it has become downright stupid.  Have some respect.

Agreed, but I don't think it's possible for these cretins to be respectful, that's not why they are here.

Dfury, sorry to see you go but understand why. What BDC has allowed to happen to this board in recent months is shameful.

Why let the trolls affect you? The Jim Buss era has started. When the LA circus gets going next season there will be less trolls on this forum. Why? The Lakers will  s u c k  for a very, very long time. That's why! LOL

Or you're a delusional Laker fan who's in denial.

Last season the Lakers looked like an old team. So why did they trade Vujacic and their 2011 1st round pick for Joe Smith? The Lakers already had a dinosaur in Theo Ratliff, the deal didn't make sense. But the Lakers said they did it to save money. I thought the Buss family have lots of money?

Also, at the February trade deadline, the Lakers did nothing to improve their team when clearly the Lakers needed some tweaks.

Then after Phil Jackson retired Jimmy Buss made it look like he hired Mike Brown on the spot. The Laker players wanted Brian Shaw or Rick Adelman. They didn't even consult their ball hogging MVP Kobe.

Still don't think something is wrong with the Laker organization?

There's more. The Lakers will have a whopping 94.8m payroll next season. But that's not the end of it, it gets worse. The Lakers will be way over the salary cap until the end of the 2014 season. So good luck trying to get out of that hole, Jimmy!

Dont understand the anger over trolls. I realize sometimes youre reading through a thread and too many of those posts interfere.... however... cant you simply place them on ignore??

If it bothers you so much to sift through their posts, IGNORE THEM.

Ill admit occassionally I wish some of these posts werent here. Sometimes I just skip over them, havent ignored anyone yet.  IF it gets too much to the point of wasting too much times, then I would ignore some of them.

THe one thing you cant get away from is other posters responding to them... I guess youd have to read that too and soon... so maybe its a no win

Just a thought though... use the IGNORE button...will save you lots of aggravation imo

Denial for what reason?  I don't know what's going to happen next year and neither do you!!  So to say that they'll going to suck or even to imply that they're going to win it all next year means absolutely nothing.  You're actually defending Vujacic?  Did you see him play the year before?  And this year?  Not exactly lighting the world on fire.  The Lakers still have a core that can win 60, without modifications.  Just because a team doesn't make it out of the 2nd round doesn't mean they'll be sucking for eternity.  The Lakers ran into an NBA buzzsaw named the Dallas Mavs who shot unbelievably from 3pt land and superhuman efforts by Nowitzki.  They might be a one-hit wonder like the Pistons in 2004.  Or the Celtics in 2008.  Each year is different.  The Lakers got pounded by the Celtics in 2008 and came back to win in 2009 and 2010.  So no, yours and your Celtics friends predictions means sh**, born out of the hatred for anything LA.  As further proof, these are the NBA Futures for 2011-2012 from objective NBA experts and bettors, you know, people who live and breathe basketball (not know-nothings who think they're NBA execs).

LOL.  Can't handle them, so let's ignore them.  They brag about the Celtics toughness yet scamper away covering their ears when it gets too hot.  Weak.

In Response to Re: Forget it. Done for a while. : You mean like this Vegas odds for 2010-11? Early vegas odds to win the 2010-2011 NBA Final Championship Title  are now posted on NSAwins.com and vegas oddsmakers have listed the revamped  www.sbgglobal.com/b3/10441.html " target="_blank" title="http:// www.sbgglobal.com/b3/10441.html " /> Miami Heat the +185 favorite to win the 2010-2011 NBA Championship . The Heat are the talk of the sports world heading into the 2010-11 NBA season after striking gold in NBA free agency by signing free agent supertar forward Lebron James and free agent power forward Chris Bosh. Combining those two with Dwayne Wade have given new meaning to the term “Big 3″ as James and Wade are clearly two of the Top 3-5 players in all of basketball, while Bosh is one of the game’s premier power forwards. If the Heat are to make it happen in year one and secure the franchise’s 2nd NBA Championship, than they probably will have to defeat the two-time defending NBA Champion Los Angeles Lakers in the Finals. The Lakers have +305 odds to 3-peat as NBA Champions this season in what should be Lakers’ head coach Phil Jackson’s last season on an NBA sideline. Jackson has already announced this will be his last season as a NBA coach and he will be trying to lead a team to a 3-peat for an unbelievable 4th time. The game’s best and most clutch player, Kobe Bryant, will be looking to win his 6th NBA ring this season and match the total of his idol, Michael Jordan. With all of the hype Lebron and Miami have gotten in the NBA offseason you know it must be motivating Kobe to add to his ring collection in June 2011 by leading his Lakers to a record-tying 17th NBA Championship. Outside of the Heat and Lakers, the teams with the next best odds to win the 2010-2011 NBA Championship according to the vegas experts are the Orlando Magic(+1615 odds), Chicago Bulls(+1615 odds) and Boston Celtics(+1815 odds).  NSAwins.com’s expert handicapper Lou Panelli’s early prediction to win the 2010-2011 NBA Championship is the Los Angeles Lakers at +305 odds.  You can bet on who you think will win the 2010-2011 NBA Championship at  www.sbgglobal.com/b3/10441.html " target="_blank" title="http:// www.sbgglobal.com/b3/10441.html "> SBG Global Sportsbook  and get a  20% SIGN UP BONUS on your 1st deposit!  Check out the  www.nsawins.com/nba-futures-betting-odds.shtml " target="_blank" title="http:// www.nsawins.com/nba-futures-betting-odds.shtml "> 2011 NBA Finals Odds and Futures  page on NSAwins.com for updated NBA Finals odds plus the  www.nsawins.com/nba-odds.shtml " target="_blank" title="http:// www.nsawins.com/nba-odds.shtml "> 2010-11 NBA Odds  page for daily pointspreads and totals odds during the NBA season. http://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=427516926760&comments

Another ignorant post.  Just because they're predictions from experts doesn't mean they will be accurate 100% of the time.  But I'd take their prognosis over sore-losing, Lakers-hating Celtics fans any day of the week.

You don't have to be a genius to figure it out. The Lakers are stuck with Fisher and Blake at PG, a Kobe on the decline, an Andrew Bynum with Sam Bowie's knees, Ron Artest is crazy again, and a Pau Gasol that said, “I have to learn from this,” Gasol said. ”I have to learn that when something happens off the court, you have to keep it off the court.”   http://losthatsportsblog.com/2011/05/pau-gasol-admits-to-off-the-court-distractions/ Let's not forget the hiring of Mike Brown. I think Mike Brown is the only NBA coach to coach 2 different teams that were the favorites to win but QUIT in the playoffs, the 2010 Cavs and the 2011 Lakers.

    Karl,
    Agree with you.
OTOH, it's kind of tough to sift through all "if you're a Celtics fan you are an idiot" posts from pseudo LAL fans and in-kind replies from Celtics fans.
But as previous years show us, those martini-lovers and GKs come and go. They're like insects: they come, irritate everyone, then wind or humidity change and they're gone.
