    Game Thread: Celtics vs Cavs

Bounce back game.  We have to win tonight or there is no telling what that says about this group.

We just need to get back to getting production from everybody.

A must win. No excuses anymore. We're all fed up with the lacklustre play.

Irving blowing past Rondo like he isn't even there.

I guess we're getting the defense-less Rondo tonight.  Irving is doing what he wants.

Irving is having his way with Rondo right now.

It doesn't matter who starts but Bass just ain't cutting it at PF.

Mea Culpa if I sound like the prophet of doom but winning tonight   and vs Cleveland yet and maybe even putting together a 2-3 game streak, ain't gonna do it because around the corner will be another 2-3 game streak in the other direction. Don't you really think Doc has had enough time juggling this lineup to find the best combination & then to learn that it is still not good enough !!!

We need a banger rebounder who can also muscle in the ball and give us at least a double double of points and rebounds. And  he is not just to relieve KG but let KG play the PF he prefers, I think, as he is deadly 5-15 ft out and can shoot over most other PFs who are 6'8"/6'9".  And let Sully play the other PF. Keep Wilcox, not a center but a feisty rebounder like Sully is and Big Baby was with us. Also, bring up Melo asap & hope he develops.

Get rid of Bass and Lee, Green & Terry too & toss in some draft choices if necessary to get Cousins.

This team looks disjointed and not together right now. There doesn't seem to be that "I got your back" mentality. Maybe everyone is starting to go there own way.

It isn't just Bass, we have a lot of issues. Maybe it's best to make trades for the future. I don't consider Rondo a building block for the future by the way.

Problem with getting Cousins is that the Kings are getting sold and trades will not be made without new owners approval.  So even though Sacrament area is sick of Cousins act.  The Seatle area is willing to take the risk Boston would because he is such a great talent.

No not the only but the biggest.  You can't tell me getting a center and moving KG back to the PF wouldn't be a huge upgrade to that starting rotation.

Yeah it's probably time to pony up for Cousins.

It still perplexes me that Melo can't get any run on THIS team. He can't be that bad.

I'm not convinced. We'll need more to be a contender. And getting a starting center before the deadline will be hard enough.

Well if you can't get a starting center you don't blow it up unless you first and for most get the biggest need.  The fix won't take one move but you start with the biggest need.  Because anything else isn't making you a contender this year.  If your not going to make the move to be a contender you wait till the off season.

True but pretty said when the rookie on your team is also just about your best player...

Bass needs to stay at the end of the bench for the duration of this game.  They just need to work Wilcox back into these games.   Is Bradley hurt?  Hasn't played much since midway through the 1st.
