Let's find out once and for all what uncle Jeff can do by starting him.
Pierce needs to go.
Nobody needs to go any where. Doc needs to put players in there right roles and get Melo going he is the big that can help now. Celtic Pride is what is needed.
You're delusional if you think Celtic pride is the only thing the Celtics need to beat Miami, Chicago, and NY in the playoffs.Let's get real.

Maybe it has something to do with Rondo's absence, he can move where he wants to pick his spots. -

13 for 13 in the quarter.
This has NOTHING to do with Rondo being out so let's not try to suggest there is a parallel.
We are just shooting the ball well.

So the Rudy Gay option is out the window.
It's either settle for OKC's lottery pick and Kevin Martin or Pau Gasol.

Terry looks more comfortable out there, so I do believe there is a papallel there. No Rondo holding traffic and pointing fingers, scorers need a rhythm. -

Dang we are going to have 60 points at the half. The ball is moving. Our problem has been letting teams back in games, let's see what happens the 2nd half. I like the way the team looks...now the depth is showing.

We have to give credit where credit is due, the team has been playing well for 2 games now without Rondo.

what did you expect? we DO have guys on this team that can play. I know i didnt expect Rondo to go out and everyone on the team just gives up. They are doing what they are supposed to do, beating a bad team at home. -

Did Donny Marshall just make a dig at someone:(paraphrasing):
"Everyone knows what they are doing, just moving the ball, and not just one player out there to direct traffic." -

Melo update:
* MELO ON THE MEND: Celtics rookie Fab Melo was in the locker room before Wednesday's game after being recalled in order to be tended to by the training staff. "I was playing pretty good with the Red Claws and I got hurt on my left quad," said Melo. "That's why I came here, to get treatment. And hopefully I'm going to stay for the next two weeks. Hopefully it'll be a good week for me." Melo was also wearing a splint over a dislocated finger. It's a finger injury, but the team is hoping the splint helps aid the rehab. "It was treated for a while, but it wasn't going normal, so they're going to try the splint." As for the concussion that served as a speed bump in his development in December, Melo noted he's had "no problem at all." With only 12 healthy bodies on the roster, Melo is able to dress for games if the team desires.

one thing i WILL say, is the Celtics need to see that Rondos teammates are pretty handy passing the ball as well. He is by far the best passer in the game, and i think can still be that, but can share the ball a bit more. Its on Doc to make sure this happens when he returns next season.

Celts 22 rebs
Kings 14 rebs
Not that hard to figure out if you win rebounding battle you USUALLY win the game or have a big lead.
