HORRIBLE first quarter.  Not the way I thought we'd come out.

Very disappointing.  Long way to go but disappointing.

It seems Pierce and Garnett will have to carry us again...
Bass just isn't made for playoff basketball.
We need more from Rondo, he'll have to pick it now, don't wait untill we face Miami
    please.

Agree....... but I still have faith.  We'll have one of those quarters in the second or third and the juices will get to flowing!   Go C's!

Our offense needs to pick it up.

Only 3 players have made field goals, KG, Ray and Hollins.

We have to get some offense going.

And the Bradley we saw in the second half of the season is COMPLETELY gone.  No cuts, no jumpers, just giving us nothing on offense.

Not only are they shooting 55% to our 30% but on the few shots they miss, they get extra chances as they have twice the rebounds, 14 to 7. I think we are lucky to only be down 10 !!!

I have one only one thing to say about the Sixers start in the first quarter...Is that all you got? Philly should be up by more...one good Boston run and this game is over.

I have patience with him, just his 7th playoff game and his shoulder could still hamper him a little. Doc has options there with Ray and Pietrus, he could even throw Sasha in there.
If our Big 3 play well we'll find a way to win against Philly but Rondo needs to be 100% involved too.

I don't like what I'm seeing so far. Sixers' 3 guard rotation is killing us. We can't BUY a bucket. We struggle with athletic teams. Sixers are tougher than the Hawks.

Frustrating because the few they miss they get the rebound so keep the 10 pt spread !!!

OK Celts, lets get the starters shooting a bit.  Just a bit and we get back in the game.

I hope that Doc puts Marquis Daniels in...I have no doubt that he would attack the rim...

Team came out flat..not moving the ball and unable to keep Philly off the boards...  Starting to be a pattern for this team starting out games

Doc will probably use Hollins again instead of Stiemsma. It isn't much but he gives us something.

I know but Rondo has proven he can come up big in the postseason,
Bass, Pietrus, Bradley, Stiemsma, Dooling, etc not so much.
As Rondo goes the Celtics go right?

I realize he's injured but so is Ray and Paul and Steimer.  Either you play or sit - no excuses this time of the year (and its not his shooting shoulder that's hurt and his legs have no problem so getting to the hole shouldn't be hampered).  He's learning that playoff baskeball is tougher.  I hope he breaks out soon....we need young legs in this series.

I don't know but it looks like Ray might have regained his starting SG spot.

He and KG are the only ones who came to play, in spite of ailments and injuries.
