In Response to Games against the Lakers and Heat
[QUOTE]These two games go a long way in my mind if we need to do something. If we can win both games against these two, then I don't know that we need to do anything. If we got blowed out then yes i would think its time. Wins against quality teams goes a long way further than losses against weak teams on the second end of back to back. We split with them and its up in the air.

How this can even enter one's mind is beyond me.
The Cs knowingly tank games to conserve minutes, they are physically beat up, and they treat the regular season (and therefore the fans) like extended preseason.
They can be the 8th seed and healthy and still be the favorites to win the title.
Last year showed us that.
I envisioned this year them having a lot of games where they would be up by 20 at half time and give up most of the lead and then have the starters come back into the game and salvage wins.
Well that has kind of happened other than they are beat up and to me the two most important guys (Shaq and D West) have missed lots of games. I think with a healthy Shaq and D West they would have a 5 game lead on Miami right now and would be fighting SA for best overall record.
But given the injuries, I think they are still in great shape.
They will probably win 60 games and be one of the top 4 seeds but if healthy are the best and deepest team in the league.
So it becomes Doc's job to manage minutes and the medical staff to keep them as healthy as possible.
It all still revolves around the health of #5, #20, and #34. If any of those 3 go down, it is over but anyone else, they can recover from.
