Get the Magic involved and have them swap Afflalo for Bledsoe

Boston: DeAndre Jordan, Caron Butler, Moe Harkless, Doron Lamb, Clippers 1st rd pick

Clippers: Kevin Garnett, Aaron Afflalo, Jason Terry + deals in place for Doc to be let out of contract with C's and PP to be waived and signed by LA unless his 15.3m is claimed off waivers.

Magic: Eric Bledsoe, Courtney Lee, Willie Green, Fab Melo and a Clippers 1st rd pick. Magic also agree to not claim Pierce off waivers. They can now take McLemore in the draft since they don't have to worry about a riskier choice at PG like Burke.

C's basically get the deal they want from LA, then flip Bledsoe and a HORRIBLE contract in Lee for a young SF in Harkness who fills a bigger need than Bledsoe, since Avery can slide over and play some PG and Green some PF, a wing to replace Pierce is important.

Re: Get the Magic involved and have them swap Afflalo for Bledsoe

Clippers have to give up on the Bledsoe for Griffin idea, that it seems LA would NEVER do anyhow.

KG-Griffin-Odom-Pierce-Barnes-Afflalo-Crawford-Terry-CP3-Billups and Rivers could win a title. Need one more solid big signed in the offseason.

The Magic have Vucevic-Nicholson-Harris-McLemore and Bledsoe as a great young group to build around as the they are lotto bound again. Nelson-Lee-Turkoglu (all went to '09 finals w/ Magic) and Harrington/Baby Davis is a solid group of tradeable veterans off the bench. Lee and Afflalo are the same age and Lee gives 80% of the production for 60% of the cash over the same contract years.

Seriously, the Magic should do this in an instant and so should the Clippers. But, why would we do it? We only get 1 pick from LAC? Maybe throw in a future pick from the magic to us. Are you really that high on Harkless? Doron Lamb?

Unless you're trying to make us reallly really bad to get wiggins and clear future cap space with retiring contracts of Butler and (gulp) eventually Jordan, this just really isn't that appealing.

Well the point is definitely to go for Wiggins

I would prefer the Clippers just agree to give us Bledsoe

But if they refuse b/c they need him to add one more piece, well Afflalo is a rumored piece they want, and Harkless/Lamb as 21 year olds are perfect for lotto rebuilding and have almost as much value as Bledsoe.

Dumping that Lee contract is HUGE as well

Yeah, like I said, I like the idea. I'd just want to get more than 1 first round pick. Maybe LAC give two considering they're making out like Bandits in this situation. Orlando could also give up a pick (first or 2nd rounder next year) considering that they're getting a perfect piece in Bledoe and you're absolutely right about McLemore vs. Burke. They need a PG but itd be a waste to get Burke at the 2nd pick.

In my trade situation the Celtics get exactly what they are supposedly getting now (Jordan, 1 pick and a contract dump) PLUS Harkless and Lamb, a couple of 20-21 year old talents perfect for a rebuild

The Clippers have simply swapped Afflalo for Bledsoe, something they cannot do cash wise (unless they include Butler or Jamal Crawford) but are rumored to want to do this summer.

So it looks like my trade proposal helps the Celtics WAY MORE than what they are close to relenting and doing now (right R9R?) and it gets the Magic to promise not to pick Pierce up off waivers... something they could do and keep him from joining the Clippers in July.

in that vein, the Clippers are also supposedly wanting Granger from Indiana.

so how about a 3 team trade along these lines:

Ind -gets Bledsoe from LA and Terry (or Lee) from boston.

LA- gets Garnett, Granger and rights to Doc

Boston- gets Jordan, Butler, #23 pick from Indiana this year and LA's first rounder next year.

then Ainge trades Pierce to cleveland for their #19 pick in this years draft.

    Possible roster after the draft.

    C- JOrdan

    C- Melo

C-  Plumlee or Dieng (#19 pick)

    PF- Bass

    PF- Sullinger

    PF-

    SF- Green

SF- Butler (final year of deal)

SF- T. Mitchell, Sarasev or Rice ( #23 pick)

    SG- Bradley

    SG- Lee

    SG- Crawford

    PG- Rondo

PG- Schroeder or Larkin ( #16 pick)

PG- D. Collison ( FA signing to protect against ROndo coming back slow and possible trade during next season).

2- first round picks in next years draft.

Sign a HC that will use and develope YOUNG players

    Rebuild kick started.

    That's a pretty good trade

Indy must see a lot of small ball with Hill sliding to SG, Stephenson to SF and George to PF if they want to trade Granger for Bledsoe, but that would be an electric lineup for sure.
