Although Perkins' IQ and shoe size compete every day he will get good advice.  That advice is that there is no future in Boston.  When the big 3 go, they are Cleveland and even he knows that.

The only way he signs a contract with the Celtics is if he gets hurt again or if they win another title this year.

Perks' take will realize very quickly that he, like Rondo, benefits greatly from who he plays with and will almost as quickly realize, they overpayed.

Bad trade. Celtics can't make a successful title run in 2011 by trading Perkins. The team can't afford to lose a big. In my opinion, Nate is expendable. Celtics should throw-in the towel on Jermaine O'Neal and work on buying out his contract so that they can use the salary room to get another player.
