Letting go of an injured non-contributing Barbosa for an active guard that can shoot (and put up some points) is a good trade for the Celtics.
The problem is that this trade won't provide significant help to improve the team. As we saw last night against L.A. and in Denver, we just get mutilated inside and without making a move for a Big man or a rebounder that can replace Bass, will not get it done in the playoffs... I'll be surprised if we get past the first round.
Looks like Danny is hoping to sign FA with expiring contracts or trades after the season.
I'm very disappointed. We missed a great chance to bring in real young talent with retiring players on their last legs. Yawn.

Huge fail by Danny Ainge. He ended the season.

He's not a good shooter - around 40%....and not good at all from three point range. Anyone can score points on a bad team.

Rivers asked for atheletes and he would figure it out, and Danny gave him two. We will see. No he didnt get a rebounder, but still may. I dont know, we will see.
