    Greg Stiemsma

I don't know much about the guy and was hoping that someone out there could provide some information. I was able to obtain a little bit of info on the guy:

    http://www.celticslife.com/2011/12/celtics-sign-center-greg-stiemsma.html
From what I have read he appears to be an athletic big (6-11 260 lbs)with a reputation of being a shot blocker.
I am not sure if he is the same guy that I saw manhandled by Chris Daniels (Kendrick Perkins clone) a guy that I once called the C's front office about a while back.

I guess at this point any big in the middle would be a great for Boston.

Best of the D league should be as good as a draft choice.  May not be ready to play at our level.

    Re: Greg Stiemsma

Robin Lopez is NOT the answer !

Martin Gortat came to PHX in a trade and was starting center from the first week , Lopez has Big Baby type issues and has smashed a couple of glass doors at the Suns practice facility , Gortat is actually the guy from PHX who would be PERFECT for the CELTICS !

With all the new talent at Forward, I'm thinking a trade of Jeff Green -they mention the contract he signed WAS NOT the qualifying offer which would prevent him from being traded, did they give Green a better offer so they could move him ?.............

Trade Jeff Green and Avery (or E'Twan) to PHX for Martin Gortat and the Celtics will be raising banner #18 !!!

Gortat is TOUGH and highly skilled. He is talented enough to play at least as many minutes as Perk did, close to 30 minutes in the middle....one of the top 5centers in the NBA - Dwight Howard, Andrew Bogut, Tyson Chandler, Andrew Bynum, Martin Gortat.....big rebounder and defender who can shoot free throws , what's not to love ?

Green is talented , PHX is looking to rebuild , I think they would love to dump Gortat's salary, not because he is not worth it, I just think Robert Sarver is that cheap and Green and Bradley are good cheap young talent.

LOVE THE DAVID WEST / BRANDON BASS / CHRIS WILCOX pickups , definite upgrade over Jermaine O'Neal , Big Baby and Jeff Green. I mean, where is Jeff Green going to play, especially with  Marquis coming back for minimum wage ?

Trade Green and spare parts/$$$ to Phoenix for Martin Gortat and Celtics will win it all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
