and camera shot on Rondo... doesn't clap, cheer or even smile as we win in double OT.  And he is the team leader?  More like a dour d.o.u.c.h*e.  Better team chemistry and team play without him IMO.

but hes the leader... hes prob clapping and cheering on the inside

    KG - 24 pts and 11 rebs

    Pierce - triple-double

It's simple, every time the stars deliver the Celtics win!

NOT THAT HARD TO FIGURE OUT!

So why do u keep bashing them?

Well, I still believe in PP, just think the coach plays him wrong... However, in this game today vs the Heat... he did make an unusually high number of bad plays at the end of the game and OT

    Now you all love PP?

I can't keep up with the rapid mood changes on here.  Reminds me of my wife with pms.

We love Pierce for what he is and has done but dude is not as clutch as he once was.  He needs to know his limits and he doesn't.  This game should not have been that close down the stretch.  You all talk about Rondo's turn overs (Assist/turnover ratio).  Did Pierce make some good plays?  Absolutely!  But did he makes more bad plays?  Absolutely!  Know your limits is all we ask and the team will be better.

OKC will not take Pierce for Martin and the 7th pick?

    HAHAHA

You are saying this is a great game by Paul?  Not a bad game, but not much has changed since last game.  We all know what Pierce is now.

Oh really? Who shot the game winner?

OKC doesn't need Pierce to score 20, just hit a crucial shot like that.

Pierce can be OKC's new James Harden, a playmaker!

At times it was very hard to watch and I constantly was cringing with Pierce controlling the ball.  If he is so good, why do you want to trade him to OKC?

Are you serious.  Crucify a dude for a couple three second clips.  He was there for his teammates when most would already be home.  If you don't think he was rooting for he teammates you just have to much hate in you.

yea except i make sense when i speak. you have one goal and one goal only, to comment on how bad Rondo is and how much better off we would be w/o him. When he has it going you are non existent on this board, untill he makes a mistake. its pathetic. you dont post as a celtics fan, just a rondo hater.

That's what happens when Rondo tries to do too much. And some here want him to be a 20-point scorer. Ugh!

Rondo's going to end up like Iverson if he tries to do everything because KG and Pierce are not getting it done.

This may be the dumbest post of the year. Trying to be a 20 pts scorer is the cause of his injury.  That is laughable.

    Really?

Didn't you tell us all that you wanted Rondo to score 18-25 every game because you know he can do it?

Rondo runs the show, he rebounds, and you also want him to be a scorer. That's called OVERLOAD, moron!

Well what does him trying to score have to do with injuring his knee?  Absolutely nothing.  Its basketball, people shoot all the time.  Yes I said I wanted him to score about 20 game simply because he can do it.  Like I said he doesn't have to rebound like that every game.  You know what you said isn't true so don't twist it around.

To be fair, he always has that zombish look....

Never has been a rahrah guy.  He is a guy who speaks to individuals to motivate and praise and if you don't know that after 7 seasons you aren't paying attention.

    Re: Heat vs. Celtics 01/27/13

Pierce pulled it out.  He is still valuable, has game, and has amazing court sense (don't lose that, the body just can't get there).  He does make more mistakes primarily becuase he is a step slower, can't jump as high, gets tired more easily (all age vs minutes) and Doc is calling the plays for him.

I appreciate PP as much, if not more, than anybody on this board

Regardless, NOW is the time to trade him.

While he still has value to a serious contender. We are not a contender with or without PP this year, because there are other deficiencies that must be addressed as a playoff contender and have been laboriously repeated here.
