How about that Bynum?

What a screw job for Philly. They traded thier best player, and will end up with nothing when this piece of trash bolts the city of Brotherly Hate this off-season.
Who predicted he would never play for Philly shortly after the trade?
Oh, yeah - ME!!!
Still think the lakers knew, but, of course, that would mean a conspiracy!

Definitely agree with you. Philadelphia knew they were taking a big risk by signing Bynum. If he had been healthy, it would have been a good trade for them. Although, Bynum has never been healthy for an entire season so I am not really surprised. Not sure what will happen to him next season since anyone who gives him a contract is still taking a big risk.

That guy is done. He can't complain though: won two championships, has money in the bank. Could be way worse for him.

Bynum had not yet had the elective knee procedure in Germany when the trade took place. The Lakers knew what everyone knew - that Drew was a gamble every year.

Oden will probably sign with the Cavs, as he is from Ohio, and he likes their youth

Bynum/Eyenga/McRoberts for Dwight/Clark/Duhon
Thanks soooooooooo much Jimmyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who knows you might have been a thirty win team rather than a forty win team with Bynum. Great job jimmy. You will probably still end up with nothing.

Philly is just stupid for making this trade. I think they HAVE to offer him a contract to save face. Since sign and trades are not allowed anymore, maybe a 4 year deal with an out clause in case the guy gets hurt. If he gets 5 years, there is something really wrong here.

- Starting in 2013-14, the team receiving the player cannot be above the "apron" ($4 million above the tax level) after the trade1, 2.
- Starting in 2013-14, the team cannot receive a player in a sign-and-trade if they have used the Taxpayer Mid-Level exception (see question number 25) that season.1
In other words, teams over the lux tax are not allowed to do sign and trades.
