    How bad are the Slackers?

Nothing has gone according to plan for the Lakers, who already are working on their third coach, their fourth starting point guard, and tonight in Oklahoma City, their seventh attempt at getting back to .500.

This game was supposed to be a showdown of two Western Conference heavyweights, and instead we find ourselves using the singular form. Steve Nash has played six quarters, Pau Gasol is resting his aching knees, and Dwight Howard hasn't looked anything like the defensive dominator he was in Orlando.

And yet, the Lakers really aren't that bad. Yes, going 9-10 against an easy schedule is disturbing, but this poor result has been driven as much by luck as skill. The Lakers are just 1-9 in games decided by 10 points or fewer, and have gone 8-1 in the others. They beat Denver by 19, Golden State by 24 and Houston by 11. They've outscored opponents by 4.1 points per game, the sixth-best figure in the league, and are in the league's top eight teams in both Offensive and Defensive Efficiency -- only the Clippers and Spurs can make a similar boast.

1-9 in games decided by less that ten pts..means Hack-a-Howard and stay close and they, el foldo.....

but it's really not that bad.

They wil be rolling in no time...

Just as soon as Nash comes back..

or DH starts hitting his ft's

    or when Pigs fly...

Hey wheelchair drunge,  there is a article on ESPN about who will benefit the most when Nash returns..   I thought I would save you time from reading it,  the opposing point guard will.

    have a blessed day.

A 38 year old PG days are behind him.  What is he gonna do, pass it to Bryant for a shot?  What else is new?

Nash is not the answer to the Lakers problems.

Kobe and the lakers are 1-8 when Kobester scores thirty or more points this year.  What a dreadful stat.

According to the  trolls, they would win it all as soon as Nash returns... right now, they are just a senior citizen away from running on all cylinders...lol....and we all know how dominant Mr. Nash is on D...He would have shut out all those 3pt shootin guards that keep burning the Slackers...and with Kome's superior leadership skills, they would all make the necessary adjustments for fear of getting getting their azzess kicked..

If the lakers continue to not live up to expectations and are out of the running for a playoff  spot come April, la fans can always look forward to the huge garage sale that will take  place  to round up a first round draft pick.

Metta World Peace could change his name to Metta Outta Here

Dwight Howard could change his name to Flight Howard.

There are enough stats in basketball to tell you anything you want to think. The Lakers have a had an easy schedule at home most of the season and have seen there team break down into Kobe shooting the ball more than ever.  I hope they never win another game.
