This board will find a way to blame him, when he had a triple double and scored their last 8 points.

He won't be blamed. He did what we needed him to do tonight. He wasn't getting killed by their guards and he played aggressive offense (except for thatmdumb turnover on a breakaway). Good game by Rondo.....do it every night!

Rondo will be blamed because he made KG so tired after giving KG a wide open shot!

In response to Kirk6's comment:
Rondo had a wide open layup and decide to throw a ridiculous lob pass, which was intercepted and turned into a basket at the other end.
He had several other wide open shots he turned down to throw bad passes.
He calls himself an "entertainer."
Maybe he should join the circus.
See guys, that's what I told you, somehow, some way, they will find a way to blame Rondo.Guess Kirk was absent in the last 5 minutes of the 4th qtr. when Rondo was the only Celtic to score.
Looks like you wasted 45 years of watching basketball, Kirk!

In response to Kirk6's comment:
I am sick of watching Rondo turn down wide open 12 foot shots to throw some fancy low return pass.
Rondo needs to shoot the f ing ball.
Like I said, Kirk, if you watched the game in the last 5 minutes of the 4th, Rondo never turned down an open shot. In fact, Rondo nailed 2 open jumpers in that 5-minute span. What were you watching, Kirk?

+1000
Maybe wide open Rondo should have taken the buzzer beater for the tie instead of passing to a fumbling, bumbling, well-defended CPP.After 7 years, R9R is overdo to finally hit one.

Kirk, you really are being unreasonable. Rondo went 10-19 from the field tonight. That's 19 attempts, Kirk!
How many attempts do you want Rondo take? 30 attempts like Kobe?
You're nuts, Kirk!

Not as ridiculous as Rondo's 4 turnovers.Rondo has to realize that with Pierce and Garnett declining, he has to shoot more.
Pierce has to realize hes not quick, fast,or good enough to waste at least 10 possesions each game going 1 on 5. Doc has to realize that you cant call 2 timeouts in the final minute of the game and try to force Pierce the ball which obviously turned into 2 turnovers. Pierce and Doc and the haters have to realize Rondo is just better then Pierce and its time to give him the ball and the team and not be held down by Pierces walking up court in transtition and empty possesions on his useless isolations -

Seriously, just becaue KG and Pierce are on the decline it doesn't mean Rondo will become somebody he is not.
When MJ retired in 1993, was it realistic to expect Scottie Pippen to become like Mike?
Come on, dementia is NOT to be taken lightly.

True.Rondo has to shoot more. He can get his own shot anytime he wants to.
WTF!19 attempts is not enough?
You're just a crazy old man, Kirk!

Rondo did something that's big picture tonight, it was "box office" level performance.
in the crunch he grabed boards, knocked down a J even though he was not feeling at all good with his jump shot tonight, got to the line and made his free throws, took it to the hole with success, manufactured a charge. He did it all when the game was on the line tonight. He was at another level. If you guys can't see that he's becoming "the star",... just get your heads out of the sand.
They need to dedicate every resource to building around Rondo, and they need to do it now.

Every minute the Celtics game plan around Pierce, or even draw up a play for him, is another minute Rondo's burgeoning prime rots away.

Great game by Rondo. Problem is he'll have to do this on most nights because of the decline of PP and KG.
