In Response to If there is a lockout:
What happens if there is a lockout (no contract) by June 30 and the players get together for practice/pickup games to stay in shape and a player tears his ACL.  Is he still covered by team insurance?  If any injuries occur and the player has a contract albeit/no NBA CBA.........is the contract void until the CBA is reached?

I have no idea what would happen.  The NFL teams are doing the same thing currently.  I would imagine that none of them are worried about injuries but just being prepared once the NFL settles their differences.  Teams that are not practicing together and staying in shape would be at a big disadvantage once the situation has been settled.
