No doubt, Williams played very well and at the right times. I was frustrated by the long jumpers in the 4th quarter and thought in the last 3 to 4 minutes when the Knicks were trying to contain the outside shooters, the prudent thing to do would have been to go at the hoop, not settle for long shots that produce long caroms and fast break opportunities for the Knicks. Williams leaving Melo in the dust was one example and Jeff Green's signature slam was another, but there was too much time spent trying to set PP for a 3. Williams presents problems for the Knicks because of his size and skills. He's cool under pressure and doesn't overreact. He has to play more for the Celtics to stay alive.
