Is it true the Lakers are going to hold open try outs, in an attempt to upgrade the skill level on their team!
I guarantee you there are some guys playing on the courts adjacent to Venice Beach that could make the Lakers Squad! Shoot there are probably some guys at my local Y that could make their team!

This is so bad they may fire D'Antoni. They will beg Phil. Too late.

In response to Fierce34's comment:
Did Juan Manuel Marquez play for the Jazz tonight?

Nice. Appropriate use of the Hellish Hound, I say...

Hiring D'Antoni meant the Lakers will never become an elite team this season.

In response to Kirk6's comment:
I have always said that Dwight Howard was overrated.
His poor free throw shooting is a killer in the fourth quarter.
Bullspit. You know each and every C fan would
secretly welcome this hugely successful celebrity millionaire w/out exception
. Even the ones that don't know it...

Pacquiao says now a fan of LA Lakers
MANILA – “The People’s Champion” Manny Pacquiao is known to be a huge fan of the Boston Celtics, especially of Kevin Garnett.
But after his encounter with Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant at a pictorial in the United States, Pacquiao declared in his July 12 “Kumbinasyon” column that he is a full-fledged Lakers fan.
