He should start over Pierce to run with rondo

Pierce can score anytime while Green needs to fire up himself.

I wouldn't mind Doc  giving PP  the night off once in awhile and a starting nod to Green.

Puts less mileage on  a vet and might shorten the learning curve for a  newcomer.

    Re: Jeff Green's resume

Green is also a career 44% shooter.

averaged 13.7pts and 5.5 Rebounds a game even though he's played an average of over 33 min a game his career.

he IS an active defender (though it doesn't always work out fro him)....but over all too many people seem to be overselling Greens talent (including Ainge) IMO.

    Re: Jeff Green's resume

Yea its not like he gets to play 40 plus minutes like PP or Rondo to get his game in gear or has Isos called for him. Last night his first shot was a kickout 3 and he missed. He got a layup and then made his 17 footer. How many times has he been able post up??  Blame Doc for using a Gazelle like Green like Eddie House not Green himself. Kids wants to play but has to deal with Doc making him play 3 and 4. Defensively the assigments of a 3 and 4 are miles away..so thats  an adjstment noone mentions and why he hasnt looked great on D yet...atleast he is trying...
