I like this move. This team cannot score...Redick would be more reliable than Terry. Terry has been a huge bust.

We might as well try to get Redick and Vucevic if we can...Bass, Melo and Lee could get it done.

What makes you think that would get it done? They have had Bass before. I would rather give Melo a shot up in the bigs before having him as a throw in on a deal.

If Ainge wants to get Redick he can get him. Redick isn't that hard to get but what Ainge gives up will be the question.
All I know is we need someone who can consistently hit open or contested shots...at this point I don't care how we get him.

Yeah, another jump-shooter. We don't have many of those.
He may be a more accurate jump-shooter, but it still doesn't address the fact that no one on this team scores from within 3 feet of the basket unless it's a transition layup.
And who trades a good jump-shooter for a lesser one, or even two, for that matter?

It's a simple swap, Jeff Green for Redick.
Orlando doesn't have a starting SF.
And don't worry about the money, Orlando can afford Jeff Green's contract.

Maybe it happens, but we will be awful thin upfront. Redick not a game changer by any means can't create a shot.Green should be worth more.

Agree Green should be worth more. But Redick is an expiring contract. That means the Celtics can get out of Jeff Green's contract.

Celtics get rid of the contracts of Pierce, Bass, and Green, then Big Al or Josh Smith can be a possibility in the summer.

Would this mean to you that Rudy Gay is in play, for Pierce. We have no one of talent at forward but Pierce with this trade. -

No. Pierce for Kevin Martin and OKC's lottery pick from Toronto.Pierce is an upgrade over Martin, there's no denying that.

and then who will back up Pierce???? This just shifts problems, doesn't solve them.Green for Reddick is not a good trade anyway. We need to reduce our over abundance of mediocre SGs and include a pick and/or Wilcox or Collins.

We need Redick but I think we can hold on to Green. A good jump shooter will open it up on the inside for Sully and KG.
Redick has a year left on his deal and if Orlando gave up Howard for virtually nothing we can get Redick without giving up Green.

Do it Danny and get Harckless while you are at it....
He will be at least as good as Green...
