not enough. kings should include 2 or more first rd picks

    rondo-mclemore-gay-williams-cousins?

doesnt look like a lottery team though

    That's why it's a plausible scenario.

If the Kings are and will clearly be a lottery team, they will not trade their 2014 1st rounder unprotected.

It will be a gamble on the Celtics part.

i mean kings should include 2 or more 1st rd picks.

Absolutely deserved. Most pleasant surprise of the year and most improved player of the year. Congrats JC.

I like the 10 man deep strategy. Create a team with no ball hog around a premiere pass first point guard  and surround him with great shooters who fill different roles.

I like how deep we currently are

    Rondo/ Crawford / Pressey

    Bradley / Lee / Brooks / Bogans

    Green / Wallace

    Bass / Olynyk / Humphries

    Sullinger / Favarani

Except for Brooks and Bogans, we are a seriously deep team. Can't wait until Rondo retuns!

A middle of the pack team.

Teams don't usually play 10 players in the playoffs.

Besides, this current Celtics team will not beat teams like the Pacers and the Heat.

If the Celts continue holding on to this roster then we'll just end up like the Celtics of the early 1990s.

    [/QUOTE]

I agree that the current team will not be able to beat teams like Pacers and Heat.  But the team at the start of the season was not supposed to beat anybody.  Now 25% of the way into the season, the team is in a very different place.

I am becoming a hopeful believer that they can get much better than this.  When Rondo comes back, Pressy will no longer see the floor.  That will be a significant improvement.

At this point I have thrown out all past reference points/measures and think that I am seeing something that I have not seen before.  After all we have a coach who makes statements like, "I don't have any goals.  I just look at the process."  Brilliant!  Reminds me of the essence of the philosophy in Bhagwad Geeta.

Got to say he's really won me over.  I think him and Rondo on the court at the same time might be fun to watch.  Unlike Ray, Crawford can get his own shot too.  Those three, AB, Rondo, and Crawford is a solid ratation.
