Where is he now? Ainge can trade our high pick for him again.

    He's in China.

We can sign him to a ten day contract.

I think he is the worst defensive player I have ever seen in the NBA.

Point being counting on drafting players to get to a championshp, is iffy at best.

10 first round picks ove the next 5 years, means we can expect more seasons like this one.

we have Rondo, Sully, Green and MAYBE KO to build around ( Bradley if he'll take  around $5M per year).

HOPEFULLY our top 5 draft pick will help us in his rookie year also ( remains to be seen with the teenagers the NBA picks now). More likely even THAT pick will take one or two years to become a QUALITY NBA starter.

Ainge has a LOT of work to do in getting enough NBA talent on this team to even see the playoffs, IMO.

10 drafts picks will only mean younger, not always better.

our top pick and hopefully a tarde for real NBA star is on Ainge''s horizon for this team.

    Suggestion to accelerate tanking:

Allow Rondo to play in back2back games.. sure recipe for more losing

The Celtics deserve a little luck in the lottery after the last couple of times they had a chance to get a high pick. Don't send ML Carr this time.

Agree.  Definitely some luck involved in getting the # 1 draft pick.  The Celtics organization has never been that lucky in the past.

    Right.

Most of us believe that's the likely scenario. No team has won a championship with a majority of its primary players that have only been in the League for two or three years. Everyone supports the idea that vets are needed and that some of the vets have to be all-stars. The drama of building to a championship is what's interesting isn't it?  Who is drafted, traded, signed, let go, etc. are the characters in that play, as you state.  Drafting a certain player to trade him shows Ainge will try to be thinking a step or two ahead. He hasn't held back before, so he's likely planning his moves. He hasn't made significant moves yet and will wait until the draft and will do the same next year, just not necessarily wait with the same assets/players by then.  Whether Ainge is smart or lucky, it doesn't matter, as long as the goal is 18.
