Keep most of our team, Doc Problem

If Randolph had started at Center and KG at power forward and Paul and Green at the two and three we might just STILL BE PLAYING.  Danny Ainge did a good job of finding a player, Randolph, that brought energy and could rebound and score.  Playing with the starters he would have changed the chemistry of the team.  Doc did not have the guts to make the change and Doc Rivers is so predictable at playoff time that it makes it easy for the opposing coaches to defend his team.   Doc froze up and did not use the talent that he had, how do we know what would have happened?  Avery Bradley was a flash in the pan last year and is a great defensive player, but that is about end of it.  Rondo does not make a big difference in this team, that is evident to those that watched the Celtics this year.  He will not be the factor that will make a difference next year , yes he is good , and yes he will fit nicely with the team next year.  Rondo at point, Randolph at Center, KG at power forward, and Paul and Green at the other two positions.  This team with the addition of Randolph , Green , and Rondo will be a very dangerous team.  Forget about the match ups and let the other teams match up with us. Doc may just not have the guts to make the one change that could have changed the face of our team, ACTIVE CENTER WITH ENERGY THAT CAN REBOUND, SCORE, PASS, PLAY THE GAME.  This would allow KG to return to his spot that led us to our first championship.  We may just have the players and need a coach.

    Rondo.... player coach!

Save $$$$.... results at least as good.

    Russell did it.

    Why not R9R?

He's our best player w/leadership out of the wazoo.

Come on, are you serious? Randolph a game changer, who would have made us a contender? The almost 30 year old china cast of? The Cs were not his first team and he NEVER made an impact. He was even cut by a lottery team before his china adventure. Hibbert would have sh.t his pants from the mighty Shaqdolph and his 6.10 / 236 frame ^^

Agree. Randolph could not put two games together let alone a playoff run.
