KG needs to up his game, no doubt about that, but I question the timing of this post after a crucial win where he came up huge on two huge possessions and show a ferocious will to win. Maybe wait till we lose and he had a bad game?

Prevention is better than cure, man. Our great leader, KG, has to lead by example. The Celtics will not beat the Bulls or the Heat if he doesn't play better. PP and Ray can only do so much, the Big Ticket is our ticket to the Finals. Wink

    Go green!!!

KG's offense was off again tonight except at the end. However, this was a relatively small factor compared to the more important issues in the game. As has been stated above, the bench play was terrible, and the defense on Melo was an embarrassment. Yes, Melo had a great game, but 42 points and 17 rebounds? Wow. Focus on KG's offense? Yes it was below PAR. Was it the biggest factor in the game, or the second most important factor in the game? No.

Melo is quite possibly the best scorer in the game, sure he embarrassed Pierce tonight, but the C's got a win, that's what matters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5-14 in Game 1 and 6-16 in Game 2, plus 0-0 FTs in Game 2. KG needs to play like the superstar that he is. I mean if Jeffries is going to be defending him he should torch that guy every time he gets it down low. Jeffries is too small to be defending KG.  Again, if KG wants another ring he has to do his part. Ray and Pierce can't do it all by themselves. KG needs to effective on offense, 10 points will not get it done.

KG is a two-guard in a 4s body.  He is a jump shooting big that many on this board like to complain about when they are wearing something other than green.  He is a powerforward with no power in his game, on the other hand the guy that is a powerforward on the other team has power in his game and is showing it.  That is why KG's numbers are so bad.
