Kings Kick Kobe in the Foot!

    Kobe Bryant likely out Wednesday

Kobe Bryant missed his second straight day of practice Tuesday with a strained right foot suffered when he was kicked during the third quarter of Sunday's 99-92 preseason loss to the Sacramento Kings at Staples Center.

Celtic fans are thankful they have Doc Rivers.

The Lakers have had a rough pre-season.  How many wins do they have?

We know that foot problems can be real serious...But hey. Howard can hold the fort with his bad back...along with Hill and Nash..the list goes on...

It's the mentality and the coach looking at the bigger picture.

The Celts were about to lose to Ulker, in Istanbul, but Doc didn't care. He even put the 3rd stringers in with Jeff Green the rest of the 4th qtr.

    Why?

Because it's just a meaningless preseason game. It's not worth risking injury to the important players.

Mike Clown on the other hand wanted to win badly. Just so the Lakers will not end up winless in the preseason?

    Ugh!

Fiercest34, this is your stupidest post so far in the new season!  But for all intsensitive purposes me thinks you will get schooled yet again.  Hopefully you will be present when school is in session!

    :missingte

So you're telling us that Kobe getting injured is worth a preseason win?

It's okay for star players to get injured as long as it will result in a preseason win.

    DUMBEST TROLL EVER!!!

and in the knicks game, doc did'nt bother to come out for the second half..saying that the assistant coach needed to get some game experience, in case he gets booted during the season..thats wisdom and experience...He can tell Pierce, Rondo, or Kg to sit if necessary..not sure that Brown can sit Koby if Koby wants to play...but who cares, this is a Celtic board..

Looks like all is not well.

Only a clown would risk injury to win a preseason game.

    NO KOBE IN SEASON OPENER?

But with the opening night contest against the Dallas Mavericks just days away, it’s Bryant who could be in danger of missing the game with injury. Both of the Lakers’ stars sat out Wednesday night’s preseason loss to the Clippers and Bryant could, according to Lakers coach Mike Brown(via ESPNLosAngeles.com), be held out of the game against the Mavericks with a strained right foot:
