If you really want us to enjoy the games. Why do you post here? It is a Celtics bb.

Gasol played against a still injured KG still recovering from surgery.  It won't happen this year if we both get there.

Really you seem smart enough to understand, you have had your fun post on a laker BB and say goodbye.  You have no impact here other than an annoyance.  We don't care about you arguments. We care about the Celtics so move on and find a Laker BB.  Move on and grow up.

The ole Garnett was hampered and Gasol kicking his butt was a fluke, myth. Garnett is not playing beter today than he was then. You twist, spin, and lie to yourself till you are blue in the face, but at the end of the day, Garnett isn't doing anything better today than he was in the series last year. This fantasyland thing you have going with Garnett is going to leave you very dissapointed. Bynum gets through to the finals healthy, the Celtics will get so out rebounded, you all will not have to worry about losing a game seven in LA again. There wont be a game seven, you all will be crying in your beer long before that. Your literal achilles heal isn't going to save team Geritol.

You didn't answer one of my several points.  The division your team plays in has not one five hundred team or playoff team.  The Lakers play the Clippers and get two free home games. And Philly and Indiana are far tougher playoff opponents than the Hornets as I know you know.  Your team stumbled to the playoffs even without any real injuries so you are going to need luck. The Magic, Heat, Bulls and Celtics are all in the Eastern  Conference. The toughest teams are clearly in the East.

So what's your point. They still play the majority of their games against ALL of the western teams...the same western conference that has consistently beat up on the eastern conference. Playing games in Staples Center is similar to them playing games in A LOT of other arenas. Have you ever watched the Lakers when they play in Utah, Sacramento and Phoenix...they have almost as many Laker fans in the stands as from the other team. I went to the OKC/Laker game in Oklahoma (proudly wearing my Lakers gear) and yes even THERE, they have a huge Laker crowd.

You can believe what you want to whether or not Philly and Indy are better teams than the Hornets, the conference records DON'T LIE. And if you really believe the toughest teams are in the east, you're either delusional or on medication.

In Response to Re: Lakers get a huge break in the first round:
Remember that the Lakers also have an organization there to help them anytime they need in the "Memphis Grizzlies".  This team had every opportunity to move up to the 7 seed but chose to lose and stay in the 8th seed to "avoid the Lakers"...... or was it so that they wouldn't have to play against Pau Gasol and constantly hear about how they gifted to Jerry West's old team the main piece to them being a championship level team....or was it so that their beloved Lakers could play the weakest team going into the playoffs in the Hornets?

Celtic fans and conspiracy theories...they go together!

In Response to Re: Lakers get a huge break in the first round:
The whining continues. It doesn't matter whether or if the Lakers win the title again. From the point of view of SOME CELTICS fans, there is a conspiracy, David Stern has always loved the Lakers and makes sure that they win almost every title with a teaser here and there to keep it confusing. Then why watch the NBA if its Wrestlemania 5? Why brag about titles, as Boston fans so often do, if its FIXED? And why fine Kobe, Phil & the Lakers? As for physical play, have you people ever watched the Spurs, Nuggets, or Blazers play? That's the biggest stereotype of them all. In game 7, the Lakers out-physicalled the Celtics. To win titles, a team has to be both athletic and physical. So Kobe, Artest, Bynum & Fisher are not physical enough for you Boston fans? As for Gasol, yes he's more of a finesse player but he outplayed KG in the last series. So can we stop with the excuses, the petty name-calling and enjoy the games.

rsalas, whining, making excuses and blaming the refs all seem to be a "prerequisite" for becoming a Celtic fan. You won't find another fan base that is better at it, although New York fans are probably a semi-close 2nd. And since we're now into the playoffs, it's only going to get worse.

In Response to Lakers get a huge break in the first round : Boston got a tough draw playing a team 2 games over .500 unlike the Grizz who are a mere 10 games over .500 Had the knicks been in the west, their pitiful record wouldn't get them within a roar of the playoffs. But oh yeah, boston got a tough draw. HAHAHAHAHAHA

I didn't miss their season record, 2 games over .500! In the west, that would =
