I wasn't going to mention it but I had a feeling we had one more. Seems like they come in threes. Good thing we were so deep there. Now we are going to have to come up with someone. I hope its a decent ball handler that can knock down a 3.

" Ainge is in a big bind..."
why is ainge in a bind?
he wasn't planning on making any trades at this point...unless they go on a huge losing streak there's no reason to make a trade now.
If the team was terrible he'd be in a tougher spot but as such he is just going to ride it out, maybe a small move for a big but maybe not

p.s. Barbosa is a tough loss, that one hurts the Cs in some ways more than Rondo in the short term as the guard depth is gone now. Ainge cannot trade any guards now either...

Bradley missed 2 crucial shots in the end that could have changed the outcome of the game.
If Memphis wants Lee then trade Lee to Memphis, TA to Orlando, and Redick to Boston.
There will only be 28 games left after the trade deadline.
The Celts will just use a 9-man or 8-man rotation in the playoffs.
It's time Ainge focus on quality rather than quantity.
Bass, Lee, and the 1st round pick should be made available.

Ainge can trade a guard for a guard. -

A cheap otion for the Celtics is for Keyon Dooling to get back in shape and take Barbosa's place in the lineup.

Looks like CW ad BB are the only players we can use in a trade for a Big.

That's one option. But the Celts can always add another guard after the trade deadline when teams will have to finalize their rosters for the playoffs. Just like the Celts added Troy Murphy late in the season in 2011.

This team now has no depth at all and it doesnt have the extra pieces required to make a decent trade.
The worst thing that could have happened was this 7 game win streak. Otherwise Ainge might have blown it up.

Ainge can trade a guard for a guard.
Who would you suggest that Ainge trade for? -

We just cant get through a season without major injuries....
Barbosa was going to become more and more important for us imo... too bad for him...
Nate might be coming back

Interesting idea. I am not opposed to seeing Nate back with the Celtics. Who would be trade for him?
