Len Bias was a beast. I saw one game where he single handedly beat UNC with a team that had Jordan on it. I  thought the Celtics would've repeated with him. I think of the possible matchups with Dominique Wilkins, MJ, Karl Malone and Worthy. If alive he would've helped prolong the careers of Bird and McHale. It was tragic.

    Re: Len Bias - 50

My wife and I were sharing a bath - we had been married less than a month - and watching TV, and the newscaster reported about Bias' OD.  Both of us werew so stunned, neither spoke for a couple of minutes.  In a flash, we felt sorry for Bias' family and realized the beginning of the end of C's run.  We would have won an additional 2 to 3 more championships.  And don't forget Reggie Lewis.  Smith and Bias would have continued a great winning tradition.  Alas!

Red Sox 2013 World Series Champs.  Patriots 2014 Super Bowl Champs???!!!
