Calling it right now.  Nothing happens today.  8.5 hours and we got nothing.  RR to Houston too tricky to pull off, noone else interested in our flotsam.

    Re: Let The Trades Begin!

Fiercy-  Not sure if you've punched out of the warehouse, yet, returned home for your mid-day slumber?  But in case you haven't, here's my expectations:

The Rockets and Celtics will reach an agreement today that will have to involve the Atlanta Hawks.  Yes, you've heard it here first.  Expect a blockbuster any minute now.

Asik is going.  And if Philly just made a trade with Cleveland, Asik is going to Boston.  Maybe it will be a small splash, Brandon Bass and a pick (which I'd prefer).  But I'm expecting a big deal, and one that will benefit everyone.

BOS gets Parson, Asik and two 1st rounders

    HOU gets Rondo

    ATL gets Jeff Green

Personally I'd rather see BOS keep Green and not receive Parsons.

Good timing for Cleveland. Zeller has an appendicitis issue.

Two second rounders lets you know how much the NBA values Hawes. Not at all.

And Earl Clark, according to hoops hype.

David Aldridge: Per source, CLE will also send forward Earl Clark to Philly along w/ 2 seconds for Hawes. Yahoo! reported Hawes would be going to Cleveland. Twitter @daldridgetnt - See more at: http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#sthash.5qSdQNTC.dpuf

Well, with less than three hours to go before the deadline, that isn't the case just yet. And likely won't be until the buzzer sounds. According to a person with knowledge of the Celtics' dealings, there is nothing remotely substantive in play at the moment when it comes to trading Rondo. I'm expecting Ainge to make at least one move.

But I'm hoping Ainge can get a pick for Hump and get something of value for Bass.

It's also possible a blockbuster deal involving Rondo happens.

What are your expectations, Celtic fans?

My guess -- Bass most likely only player moved, should be Green. Aanything with Rondo probably won't happen -- too little time to work out players/salary cap issues by 3PM. I think it looks like draft time/off-season moves just like last year.
