Murphy was inactive for GS tonight... Could this mean he will be bought out on Monday? Get ready Danny! -

Murphy would be a nice addition but he will be much sought after, but you never know with DA he could be looking someplace else and he might get the guy he really wants. -

It's a sign that he has been bought out. We'll find out tomorrow as I believe it's the last day to sign a player and for that player to be available for the post season.

Fingers crossed. I think Murphy will help the C's. -

He would help a bunch of teams! In fact there isn't one playoff contending team who couldn't use him. I'd like to see Powe back in Boston also but I think his ship has sailed. watch for someone you didn't expect because that's the guy that Danny is looking at.... -

If not Murphy (which I hope DOES happen) does Gadzuric help if bought out?

You know...the truth is I don't know much about the fellow. -

I know stats don't tell the whole story. I was just looking at Gadzuric's for the season and his career. As John Belushi in Animal House said when he first saw Kent Dorfman, AKA Flounder " AHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"!
No to bringing in Gadzuric. -

If Ainge didn't think he could get Murphy I don't think he would have traded Semih Erden. -

I agree that Danny definitely had someone in mind when he made these trades. We can only hope that anyone that he signs will help this team for the remainder of the season. -

New link on potential buyouts. Looks like slim pickings:

I have been worried about this since everyone thought there were going to be all sorts of players available. Looking now like we are going to just have to take whats there. It probably won't be near what everyone was expecting. Only problem is they have to want to come to the C's also. Thats not a sure fire thing. I really didn't care much about Murphy but with what might be out there I am hoping we can come up with at least him. Powe? I liked him but he is a walking injury that didn't play for cleveland. That should say something about his abilities. -

Troy Murphy and Corey Brewer would be great buyout guys -

Murphy, Butler and Powe - I like Brewer as well, but see him going someplace he can get minutes. He is much younger than the other two, isn't he? If so, at this stage he would be more interested in his next contract than in a ring! -

I hope we can get Ford too. He would keep the second unit running right along. He can shoot pretty good also. INSURANCE -

I wonder if DA has fixed plan and knows exactly who will fill these roster spots and has known since the day of the trade. It would interesting to know this as DA is riverboat gambler if he is winging it. -
