My ideal trade that nobody is talking about

Celtics send Rondo to orlando for Nikola Vucevic and Jameer Nelson

The celtics get a big young 7 foot center who is averaging 12 and 11 boards to go along with a solid jameer nelson who is averaging 15 and 7 assists. some may say that fab could be the next vucevic but we just dont know yet. Id then turn around and trade bass for whatever you can get. the dude sucks.

    Nelson/Terry                                        OR              Nelson/Terry

    Bradley/Lee/Barbosa                                               Bradley/Lee/Barbosa

    Pierce/Green                                                          Pierce/Green

    Garnett/Sullinger                                                   Sullinger/Garnett

    Vucevic/Wilcox/Garnett                                          Vucevic/Wilcox/Garnett

The second lineup would give garnett a chance to rest more and come in and dominate the second units.

    Cousins is the move.

If the Kings want to dump some long term contracts.

To Celtics - Cousins, Thompson, Garcia and Fredette

To Kings - Rondo, Green and Melo

It gives us 2 bigs and a shooter

It gives them a PG, swing man and future big.

Then you trade Bass and Lee for a SF to backup PP

    Our future is set...

AB, Terry, PP, KG and Cousins

Bench - Fredette, Garcia, backup to PP, Sully, Thompson

We are bigger and more physical. Now KG doesn't have to do all the dirty work.

    My opinion:

Vucevic and Nelson is IMO not enough to get us back into winning mode based on talent alone.

Add the fact that Nelson is small and a terrible defender which makes him a bad fit with AB and the rest of our team.

I don't think we will become better with this trade save that Vucevic becomes an legit All-Star.

That's a good trade for both teams. But the Kings don't want to trade Cousins.

Aaah, who is going to play point guard. Fredette c'mon.

Ahh, but you have two shooters on the floor at the same time in you do a 3 guard rotation of AB, Terry and Fredette.

You put Fredette and Terry on the floor with Cousins, Sully and PP and that's a tough line up because you can't double Sully or Cousins because it will leave Fredette, Terry and PP for open looks all day.

Something tells me you are greatly underestimating what Rondo can do and what these guys can't.

Rondo is who Rondo is...we've seen the best of Rondo and the worst. We need a low post presence and I think AB can run the PG position. I like Rondo's triple doubles but with a young frontline of Cousins, Thompson and Sully...that's a lot of size to deal with night in and night out for the next 3-5 years. This is something many teams in the East wouldn't want to see in a series. We can't run if we don't get rebounds. AB and Terry can hold down the backcourt if they're getting good looks and better ball movement.

Danny will do a Bass for (upgraded big) trade. Thats it.

This summer: Pierce & KG HAVE to retire. OR Pierce wants FA - goes to another team or we do a S&T, and KG stays for another year. We use the 16M to sign a big and get a scorer

Trading Rondo is not happening. So why talk about it?

Because NOBODY, including you, really knows what Danny will do.  What we do know is that this team can't win.  Trading garbage for garbage won't get us to the promised land either.  It will require that we move at least one premier player to put the right pieces in place.

It would be stupid for Danny not to listen to a deal that includes any of: Rondo, Pierce, Sully and Bradley, and if Danny is able to strike a sweet deal that improves the team for the future, then are all possible trade pieces...and Rondo is prime because he has such a sweet contract for someone to pick up.

One player I would like to get is Zach Randolph... he addresses two big needs... scoring and rebounding....

Why do you, every time someone mentions a trade or a lineup change, say: "Ain't gonna happen"?  Are you in the locker room?  Do you maintain contact with Doc and Mormon Boy?

    LMAO!

And you don't KNOW it anyway.  If someone had told me Perk and Big Al would have been traded, essentially, for KG and to get Jeff Green back......
