    My Worst Nightmare..

We win the lottery and Parker stays in school.

    that would blow beyond belief

I doubt either of those will happen, but Embiid is a nice consolation prize!

    Re: My Worst Nightmare..

    I got a worse one...

We end up tied with Orl. which gives us false hope because we lose the coin flip and have to settle for 4th worst.

Then we get crushed in the lottery and get the 7th pick where nobody wants to be and DA can't find a trading partner.  He takes McBuckets because he is the best scorer left but proves much too slow to guard at either SF or PF positions, which forces Brad to bench him early in the season ala Faverani.

Rondo see's no upgrade in the roster and demands a trade causing his value to sink even lower, and DA is forced to take pennies on the dollar.  Rondo is traded for an expiring, another middling role player, and a second round pick.

We end up with no guys with All-star potential on the team and at least 2 more years of praying for the Celtics to lose.

Oh yeah, the Lakers were one of the teams that jumped us and end up with a top 3 pick.

Whats this? Celtics fans forgot their clinical repeating nightmare?? Goes something like this: Draft stud player.. and.. he dies. Bias, Lewis.. thats like one every decade. How many tanking seasons are we expecting. ah.. hwatever.

Am I being paranoid that an intensive background checkbackground check should be made on Embiid, Parker & Wiggens re: posssible use of cocaine based on our aforementioned luck with Len Bias & Reggie Lewis ??? We really deserve some luck with the ping pong balls...maybe the Celtic leprechaun can help us(HA!). San Antonio was 3rd worse yet lucked out and picked Duncan. If we had, we might have had #18 & 19 already. Embiid is a risk with his back issues but we are desperate for a Ca Csince Perkins left. Parker is terrific but I think we are OK at F position with Sully, Oly & maybe we keep Hump. Wiggens, at 6'8" would be a tremendous G and there is controversy re: keeping Rondo and A. Bradley is mostly a defensive player and Pressey and Bayless are a dime a dozen. So, my choice would be Embiid 1st and Wiggens before Parker if we have a choice but either if only 1 remains.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Lakers end up with the number one pick.  The Celtics are never lucky enough to get the # 1 pick.

I'd pretty much bet my firstborn that the Lakers will wind up with a higher pick than we do.

The league will take care of their $maker Lake Show, one way or another. Guaranteed!!! NBA is a business before anything else. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and plenty of it. It's like Costner as Tin-Cup when taking a putt ..... "Dollar bills".

My worst nightmare is the Celts are terrible all year and then go on a winning streak at the end and cost us the chance to get a top 3 pick......OMG, that nightmare just became a reality.

Brad should be fired for winning this game tonight.

He should have started Bradley at the point instead of Pressey.

I agree Chris33 but be careful as the "do-gooders" are out tonight and all happy about the win. The win could set us behind for a long time my man because this was our year to grab the golden ring {Top 3 Pick} and hopefully a cornerstone player. The C's will be better next year and no chance of getting this high of a pick again. And Yes, Stevens should at least be fined.

    +100

bs shouldve benched ab or atleast put him at the point. Just like what mployee said, bs should've inserted anthony instead of hump. COME ON!! DA should sit behind brad and tell him when to attack and when to tank

Bro, cannot believe it. There was nothing good that came from the win. This was our year to get a guy in the draft that could be a Cornerstone player but we just blew it.

Yep, hard to think Ainge did not tell Stevens to tank it with so much on the line. If there was anything at all that was positive about winning the game, I would understand but there was nothing but doom that went along with the win. I hate to even use that word {win}.
