He is really showing it tonight.

Nets just are a better team. They're big and they have scorers.

The problem is that just about every team, including the Wizards, look better than the Celtics.   Getting blown out at home when we have the team available that we will have in the playoffs......is just ugly!

Reason why the Celts are losing is due to the fact that they are having a hard time scoring this season.

The Nets have players that can score even when they're defended well.

yep but thats always been the case all season.... and what does Ainge do to address that?  Crawford!  Halarious because from what I see he should not be in the NBA and should be on the playgrounds in NY...

It was a mistake not making a trade to improve the team at the trade deadline. And the Celts would have been better off trading Pierce and KG. But if the Celts did that, it would have meant no playoffs. Meaning no playoff ticket sales.

Ainge got Crawford for Jason Collins. Not a bad deal for the Celts.

Come on, it's not like Crawford is being paid 5m per year.

    THANKS DANNY...

Reality is starting to set in. Deep down us Celtic fans knew that 2010 was the last chance to win a championship for KG and Pierce.

Unless you're suffering from dementia, we'll still be alive to see the Celts back on top again in the next 10-20 years.

    THANKS DANNY...

    Re: Nets vs Celtics 04/10/13

the average fan is going to look at how we shot in this game as the cause of our woes (tonight and other nights).   The real issue is that we no longer have that tough defensive team that was number one or two in defense every year and also high in field goal percentage.   We no longer have consistent shooters like Ray used to be nor any defense like we've had when BBD or Tony Allen or James Posey was here.   We don't have those tough, fighting, ugly players who could win games when we shot 41% from the field because we forced our opponent to shoot poorly.

How many times did we see someone have career nights against us, especially guards?   We just get KILLED because our guys want to "out offense" the other guys rather that play hard nosed D.   Forget rebounding, how about some plain old defense!

Some one seems a little upset tonight, wonder why?. At least Jimmy got us DH12 (who was supposed to be a Celtics in 2012 with over rated Austin Rivers according to Fungus) and Earl Clark for the guy with Sam Bowie genes. Steal of the century...Cool

    I hope you're right.

But based on average, since the implementation of the salary cap and the draft lottery, it takes, more or less, 10 years for a team rise to the top again from one generation to another.

    Any examples?

Randolph 9 rebounds in 16 minutes.

    Maybe he should play more?

Bass and Green minus 21 and minus 24.

    Good job, guys.

But Green has shown he deserves the minutes.  I don't question him.  I do question Bass.  Every good game comes with 5 bad games.

Neither of these guys played defense tonight.

Like I said, Randolph gets 9 rebounds in 16 minutes.

    Shouldn't he play more?

Yes, the Mandolph in question should have played. Common sense should have dictated his presence considering his play of late & his contribution tonight. When was the last time we saw Bass take a charge?
