I like Isaiah Austin. Think Toni Kukoc.
Never too early. Who do you like so far in the draft?

You're not wishing on the wind. This thread is only asking who you like, not who the Celts would get. -

Don't know anything about him, but just to hear his name pronounced in Boston:
Marcus Smart!!

Well I like other guys in the lottery too, I was thinking more in the Celtics range... I erroneously assumed everyone thinks ALL CELTICS related like me!

We really need to move up to get Noel!!!! Shabazz would be my consulation. With no moving up I say Isaiah Austin. If he falls, Glen Robinson III.

He's over rated. He's not even a first team selection in a weak Sun-Belt conference. -

Noel would be a great help to the Celtics and he is from Massachusetts. How awesome would it be for a local kid to sign with the Celtics. Although, I don't think it would happen. -

Lin, the kid from Maryland has REALLY stepped his game up this season. a Europeon player that plays INSIDE...unusual!
he's been eating up other "higher rated" players all year.
I think he'll end up going top 5 pick though.
guys the Celtics might have a shot at:
McAdoo (NC).......hasn't played up to his heritage yet, but certainly has the size and bloodlines to be a good NBA player.

If the C's trade Rondo and get a lotto pick I like Shabazz Muhammad, Victor Oladipo and GRIII... any of those 3 could help us move on from Pierce as far as a 22-24ppg scorer or in Oladipo's case a 16-18ppg scorer with all-world defense that would upgrade even Lee's good D... now that with Bradley would be scary.
I guess I'd consider Zeller, Noel and Len too, just cuz they are 7' and we need size.
Picking 17-22, where we likely will then McAdoo or Austin for the upside. Austin should return to school and be a lotto pick next year. I'd really look into us trading the pick with Bass or Melo and some of our guard depth to either move up or get an established big to help Sully/KG next year.
If we took Plumlee or Olynyk I'd be pretty dissapointed. Yeah they'd be upgrades to Bass and I'm ok w them sharing time with Sully as a young PF duo... but there is no real upside there with 22 year olds at their ceiling.
Bass has to go this summer....
