    New Starting Line up

Bradley PG  He has the most experience on the team at guard. Let him run it.

    Lee SG

    Pierce SF

    Green PF

    Garnett C

Bench---  Terry, Barbosa, Sully,  Bass,   And bring up Melo.  Look at how much Sully has improved already. Give Melo a chance to improve and give him minutes.   Still a solid team with Rhondo out.

No PP.....?   Would you bring him off the bench.  Not a bad idea but not sure how that would go over.

Green should be starting. What a thunderous dunk today. He is really starting to come into his own.

I would start Green at the 2.

Its not a bad idea but can he defend out there.  I know he plays like a guard so your idea has merit.

Green showed today that he can defend the best.

    Re: New Starting Line up

Pierce can play the two on the offense and Green can guard the two on D.  But they have many different combo's they can use at this point to just match up against other teams starting five.  They are still very athletic and should be able to adapt.  The real question is if Danny blows it up or not.

It doesn,t matter who starts but KG still 30 minutes,Pierce 25,Sullinger 25,Bass 25,Bradley 25, Lee 25,Terry 20,Green 30 , Barbosa 20 Wilcox 15 (when ready) that gives us almost 240  minutes a game of good rotation possibilties. DA built this team to handle some injuries I think that rotation can be a contending one, actually more like some of the Cs best teams at some point every body stepped .

Id start Green at the 2. I love the idea of him playing big minutes. Can't grow much and become the star we all want him to become sitting on the bench.

    Re: New Starting Line up

Something happened today that caused a major shift in how the C's can approach things and Doc/Danny have the reasons and proof to translate it to the team.

1-Doc can now convince PP to come off the bench OR play more Point Forward...which will take the pressure off of him to defend other SFs.

2-Green and Terry found some comfort in the offense.

3-It forces everyone to focus on their role with Rondo out.

4-Favorable schedule over the next week...not too many road games.

5-May humble Rondo and gives him a chance to sit and watch how the team should function at the PG.

    Re: New Starting Line up

I think Bradley can run the point for the rest of the season.  If Green can play the 2 then this team doesn't lose to much.  It might even be an upgrade if Green plays like he did yesterday with more minutes.  I am concerned that we still don't have a big man.  If Melo is the only guy we have then he needs to play now.  He will only get better as he plays in the C's system.  And what in the heck is Wilcox doing?  He is a total waste to this point for the C's.

This is it. Pierce and Green handle the ball and bring it up. Avery is a born slasher and is getting real good at the catch and shoot.

Thats alot to ask of the big guys.  But  I guess they could all share the duty.  AB could bring it up and get rid of it to PP or JG also.  It will be interesting now to see how things will play out.

I would rather see Sully in there than Lee.  PP and JG will get killed on the boards.  The C's need to become bigger and tougher.  Sully does that if JG can play the 2.
