7 game win streak: 27.8 mins excluding the 3OT game
So, he has NOT, repeat NOT played more minutes in the win streak nor recently. In fact, he played WAY more minutes in Dec when he played 34.4 mins in 14 games! Mins are NOT the issue. Think about what else has changed since he's been playing better - the ball movement!!!!

Terry had a great start and a great end. In between he was awfull. The biggest shots came from PP and Green (and some from KG). But Terry came up big as well, no denial. Like I said many times, after Ray was gone, he was the best possible replacement. But he is not better than Ray this season so far or even last season. Most of you guys change their mind by just one play, amazing. If Terry wouldn't have made this last open shot, half the board would want him gone. Not Fierce though, he feels always betrayed by his former love Ray Allen^^
And just as Fierce mentioned for the 1001st time that Ray was blocked by Wade (as if no guard ever was blocked) AB gets blocked twice, ouch. Didn't you mention this will stop when Ray is gone? Just like Terry would solve our rebounding issues when Ray is gone?
Did Ray defend Bryant tonight or not? I'm not sure cause you flip flop so much about it. Did yo watch the game and saw that Kobe scored most of his points against other players but Ray?
Ok, that is it from my side about that. It is hopeless anyway. Great win, great hustle, great to watch! Hopefully a lesson for AB in late game situations and hopefully we don't have to pay for this game and the minutes PP and KG played.

All I said was no more blocked lay-ups from Ray. Why make stuff up, man?
And yes, right now the Celts are averaging 39.96 rebounds per game. The last 3 seasons with Ray, the Celts averaged 38.6 rpg in 2010, 38.8 rpg in 2011, and 38.8 rpg in 2012.
With Ray gone the Celts got younger and more athletic. Just look at their rebounding numbers this season and compare it to the last 3 seasons.

Kobe had 28 points on 11-19 shooting.
That's good D when Kobe shot less than his season average and ended up with more points than his season average?

The reason why Terry is better than Ray at this point in time is he can play backup PG.
Ray can never be a backup PG.

That's the benefit of.....let's see.....some true vets who know how to play the game and a good coach. Danny built a deep team this year, afterall. Just took getting the ball hog out of the way to show what we got. Wish Rondo was back and NOT hogging the ball - we'd be that much better.

Ray just played 21 minutes while Kobe played 37 minutes.
So Kobe scored 28 points in 16 minutes?
Kobe usually shoots more than 20 times a game. 28 points from 11-19 shooting is good D?

it is true that Rondo was just running the offense that he was told to run.
He never should have been the leader of team either. I have said that all year. Pierce and KG on the team and Rondo is the guy leading? Makes no sense.
Regardless, he is gone for the year, and thusfar these guys are playing great.

Doc said out of neccesity they had to change the offense, to a free flowing offense once Rondo went down. He sees the results and likes it and said they may stick with it. He's also stated that the offense they ran with Rondo was the one he implemented and wanted run. So that is how Rondo ran it because that is how the coach wanted it. Rondo will flourish in this new offense also, if that is what they keep. Plain and simple. It was the other players that couldn't get in the flow of that previous style. Rondo has run this offense for 6 years and won a championship, made it to the finals another time and gone to the conference finals two other times. That is a great track record for a point guard.

a bit contradictory when the only way the ball hog got out of the way was through injury... not from a good coach who recognized the problem and addressed it..

!!!!!! i cant understand why people think that Doc is telling Rondo to do something diff and Rondo is just disobeying him and doing his own thing. That happens on undisciplined teams, not Doc coached, KG and PP ran teams!!!
