Oh Danneeeee....where's the effing big man?

Let's go Mormon Boy.  Call up your pals in Salt Lake and get us Big Al or SOMETHING.  We all generally agree that the problem with this team is lack of a legitmate starting center right?  Oh wait, there are those who think it's Rondo...whatever.

We will, without a doubt, end up with a big man by the trade deadline.

Our top choices are Gortat and Cousins.  If we get outbid for those two, then we'll end up with either Barganni, Gasol, Josh Smith or Big Al.  Be patient.  Teams will be discussing, evaluating and negotiating for a few weeks to get the best deal.

    In response to damfuno's comment:

All true enough but if the Celtics keep playing with the lackluster jump shooting team they are the Boston fans will not tolerate it and the boo birds will be flocking more that the swallows of Capistrano.......I believe that the Boston fans are maybe second behind the Philadelphia fans as far as expectations of having an elite team.......and as we stand now we are far far away from being an elite team........no owner wants to see his team on national TV get booed for poor uninspired performance

Jan. 15 is less than 3 weeks away. A change will be coming.

Maybe, Danny Ainge can acquire the rights to Semih Erden from the Cavaliers and bring him over from Turkey. Erden may not be as good as Gortat or Cousins but he will cost much less than either and is a more serviceable back-up to KG than Collins.
