Jimmy Buss gave the Laker fans fool's gold.

Don't blame Mitch Kupchak because Jimmy has the final say.

Oh, true, so i should call him Bytch instead of Mitch.

I copied and pasted a paragraph from an article that I delighted reading about the bleak future of the Lakers. Seems we need not worry about them tying our 18 rings for a few years and we probably have a better chance at another before they do.

The link is below this paragraph but I'm sorry I don't know how to put a link on the board that is highlighted and you link on and open.  But it is worth the time to copy it and paste it into Google and enjoy it as I did.

"It's time, now, for Los Angeles to look to Boston. It's time to watch what Danny Ainge did last week, when he blew up his team after Doc Rivers' departure. He blew up the team the Lakers faced twice in the NBA Finals, in 2008 and 2010, one that's as storied a franchise as the one Howard just spurned. Yet Ainge felt no shame, even if he couldn't quite stomach the word “tank.”

Actually I am able to highlight the link and right click on my mouse and link on to "Open Link" instead of needing to paste it into Google.

GOOD READ! I made it a hyper link, here ya go:

Sorry to ask you a computer question but, if you have time, could you explain the process for what you called a "hyper link" so a fellow poster can simply link on to it to open as it is highlighed. When I copy and paste the link, it only comes in black not linkable text.

Let me say that if I, God Forbid, were a Laker fan I'd be delighted he was gone. With Kobe, Howard, Nash & Gasol, 4 HOF ers, they were to race to the Western Division and didn't get past the 1st round.  Do the Lakers feel it was because Nash & Gasol were injured. And then Kobe the last few games. When all 4 played they did not dominate. Again, I don't know why Laker fans would want him back as Kobe, Gasol & Nash are not youngsters so I would not expect their performance to improve, injury free or not !

They have to do as we and the article said---bite the bullet for a year or two & get youthful. Living in SF, although a Boston fan, I do enjoy watching the Warriors, especailly listening to "Beat LA, Beat LA" with a starting 5 that averages 23 years old. The Celtics need do what the Warriors, who gave the Spurs fits, need do.

Again, Laker fans, trolls etc. please tell me how Howard staying in LA was to make their team better next season.

    Yo SF, How to hyperlink:

Copy the Link/URL and paste it to your new post, then highlight that very Link/URL in your post. When you do this, it will automatically light up the "chain links" in the bottom tool bar of the "add post" window. Click on the connected chain links. When the box opens, right click and "paste" the same link that will still be available to paste from the first time into the "Link URL" box. Click on "INSERT" and your link is "hyper linked". Lemme know if you need any further help. BTW, are you in San Fran? Been watchin' that crash, if so. I was an ATC specialist at SFO at one time. Nasty crash! But it ceratinly couda been lots worse.....

As for your take on DW12 leaving LA, I AGREE. I personally believe that the Lakers are better off in the long term. But that is irrelevant for me as I am revelling in the fact that they were all so pompus about winning 70-games last season, rolling to the Trophy, then DW12 automatically signing a long term deal. This after dumping other players to get him! But, SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I don't want them to be happy about this. There's something about suicidal Laker fans that is so entertaining!!!

Thanks Rally C for link highlight process. I live in Marin County across GG Bridge but with family visiting from Portland, Me. Portsmouth, NH & Newburyport, Mass we were all in North Beach(Italian Section) yesterday and although most restaurant TVs play Soccer game they all had the crash on TV and you are absolutely correct that we are lucky there were not more fatalities. OK, got to go sighseeing as got delayed today watching the fantastic Andy Murray down 1-4 in 2nd set and 2-4 in 3rd set become first Brit to win in 77 years.  Sorry, C fans I know this is a basketball forum but I was disgusted last night too in a restaurant watching the SOX blow a 7-3 lead in the ninth & then lose in extra innings...UGH!!!
