    Bradley:   3 / 4

    Sully        3 / 4

    That is all pretty accurate as far as I am concerned. The only difference is that I would give Sully a 4/4 and I don't think Green has an all star ceiling.

    Yup.  I think the current prognosticators that have the Celtics winning over 31 games are wildly optimistic.

    I'm sticking with 24-27 wins, unless the current roster changes.

    Common man. Rondo is an allstar. That is indisputable. If you want to put a 6 for super-star and call Rondo a 5/5 fine, but to class him less than that is just retahded.

    Re: Ranking the Celtics Roster

    I'll give you credit for the post, but ... Your whole scale is f'ed up. Using decimals is dumb. Just expand it out to a 10pt scale to include the whole range of values:

    1 = Not NBA talent (0 mpg)

    2 = Depth player (0-5mpg)

    3 = Limited bench role (5mpg)

    4 = Role player off bech (10mpg)

    5 = Solid role player (15mpg)

    6 = Starter role player (25 mpg)

    7 = Starter top-3 option (30-40mpg)

    8 = All-star (40pmg)

    9 = Franchise star player (40mpg)

    10 = GOAT (40mpg)

    Rondo: 8/9

    Green: 7/8

    Bradley: 6/8 (its possible, I don't expect it to happen)

    Sully: 4/6

    KO: 4/6

    Wallace: 6/8 (I believe he was an allstar)

    HumptyMcDumpy: 4/6

    Bass: 6/6

    Lee: 5/6

    Brooks: 4/6

    Crawford: 4/5

    Re: Ranking the Celtics Roster

    In case you forgot ... relevent PGs in the NBA with allstar selections:

    Chris Paul (6)

    Tony Parker (5)

    Rajon Rondo (4)

    Derrick Rose (3)

    Russell Westbrook (3)

    Irving (1)

    Holiday (1)

    (I bolded the relevent one so you can block it out and pretend it doesn't exist)

    Re: Ranking the Celtics Roster

    My rankings are subjective and All Star designation is according to MY STANDARDS.

    Tier 1 All stars - Paul, Westbrook, Parker and Rose

    Tier 2 All Sars - Irving, Wall, Curry, Lillard, Hill

    I take ALL of the above over Rondo, who IMO is a "borderline all star", with significant deficiencies.

    Eldunker,

    I'd rather use your 5-point system than R9R's 10-point. But if you use .5 you kind of jump into 10 points.

    Also, as others pointed out, RR is All-Star, so to put him below that is just factually incorrect.

    Mostly agree with your ratings, sans .5:

    RR - 5/5

    JG - 4/5

    Hump - 3/3

    Lee/Craw - 2/3

    AK

    PS after your explanation about your All-Star - fair enough

    Ok, as long as you are clear that you are re-defining a well defined word based on your own opinion and bias ...

    that's fine.
