Wallace could be money for them in the playoffs like he was for the Celts.  That was a good pick up for them.

37 years old but you have to respect his ability and big game presence.

Guy hasn't played in over a year!!  People out here are denying it, you know!!  They say there is nothing anywhere from the lakers that confirms this!!

Seriously? He was barely able to help the Cs a year ago ...he hasnt played in a year ..he is old and slow.... I doubt this elevates them

He's not going to be better than Troy Murphy. 2 years ago all Sheed did for us was shoot 3s. He was not even an average rebounder 2 years ago. He could have made a difference in Game 7, but he just couldn't handle Gasol or Bynum. Just like he couldn't handle Duncan in Game 7 of the 2005 Finals.  Sheed is done!  3rd string C/PF at best.

well, we'll see, if the deal goes down?  But I wouldn't be surprised if Sheed adds something to the tall spots as a back up for both Gasol and Bynum come playoff time.

His lack of conditioning for 2010 was a disgrace, but we wouldn't have gotten to the finals without his help.  And I thought he came out and played a huge game, huge game, then gassed like every one else did.

Throwing his back out was the thing that was his fault for being out of shape all year.  It hurt him, and the Celts in the finals, but he came to play and had a great game none the less.

Kobe getting a 3 shot trip to the line when Ray didn't come within a foot of touching him, helping him get his stroke back to hit a couple key jumpers in the fourth when he was having a historically awful shooting night (thanks to Ray, also coming to play the defensive game of his life).  This among the other reasons like 22-6 in the fourth is why they lost.  I know the saying that you can not blame it on the reffs, but this was the exception.  It wasn't sheed or anybody else.  Would have been nice if Pierce hit a couple jumpers.  Not cool that he got dominated by Artest again,.. then left him open for the improbable three.  But it was on the refs in the end.

This means a big trade is on the making. Watch and learn. You can save this on your hard drive.
In Response to Re: Rasheed Wallace Signs With Lakers : You really expect the refs to bail us out on the road? Gasol got 18 rebounds, KG only got 3. As a matter of fact, Gasol had more offensive rebounds(9) than the whole Celts team(8 total offensive rebounds)! That's domination! Pierce always struggles against Artest. Even when Artest was still playing for Indy. Remember, when we won a championship in 2008 it was Luke Walton and Vladimir Radmanovic guarding Pierce.

I don't expect the refs to bail either team out in game 7 of the finals, but that's what they did for the yellows.  And they did it in the starkest of ways.

Gasol also got away with an up and down that resulted in a basket in the last minute and a half.  Garnet was hacked and didn't get the "and one" call in the last few minutes.  The list goes on and on.  it was one game for all the marbles and the Celts played gutsy and great.  Rebounds don't always tell the story in a blanket sense like you, night after night, write that they do.

I can't bare to think about this game 7 anymore, but it was a fake just like everything else out of L.A.
This is just great, we lost Game 7 of the 2010 Finals because of the refs. No wonder fans of other teams laugh at Celtic fans sometimes. Almost every time the Celts lose it's because of the refs. Ugh!
    Posted by Fiercest34
only time I've ever said it.  People that don't care about either team saw that game and couldn't believe the NBA was a credible organization.  and it sounds like your making comments against me to encourage your Laker troll friends to join in on your side, pathetic.

That game was a rip off and anyone that's not a Laker fan can see it clearly.  Every other commercial during that finals was an add where Kobe Bryant was counting off to five, to a Beatles song called "all together now".  It was the industry creating the narrative about victory for him.  Just disgusting!  And then he did his best Paul Pierce impersonation after the final buzzer, running up and down the court with his MVP trophy as though he was the only one on the team.
In Response to Re: Rasheed Wallace Signs With Lakers : You can't be serious. The Celts just averaged 38.6 rebounds per game in 2010.  NO TEAM IN NBA HISTORY HAS WON A CHAMPIONSHIP AVERAGING LESS THAN 40 REBOUNDS PER GAME!

    did you watch the game?

    ugh

obviously the celts were robbed by the refs, anyone who tries oi say otherwise is a liar

yes reb's and injuries to ray/perk were major reasons we lost as well

but if the 4th quarter was called fairly the celts win.... duh

    Posted by TheNewGKDynasty
I can hardly wait till the big trades happen.  Every year its like the deck of cards gets reshuffled.  Its good entertainment.  To some degree, Boston and LA built Championship teams this way.

The 4th quarter was called fairly. We went to the hole, we got whistles. You settled for jump shots, no whistles.

Calling it the other way would be utterly unfair. Son, learn how the game is played...
