Ray Allen 3 Pt Record...what game?

What game does everyon think RA breaks Miller's 3 PT career record?

He is 28 away from the record right now.

I will guess Sunday Feb. 13th vs Miami @ Boston

That would be nice.  It matters not to me, but the roof would come off if he did it then!

It would be great if Ray could do it against the Lakers on Feb. 10.

Might be a little ambitious. Feb 7th at Charlotte. Hope I'm wrong.

He is closing in...I will stick with my original of Feb. 7th at Charlotte. I don't think its going to happen.

I would like to see Ray break Miller's 3's.
Ray is my favorite Celtics player -- a true Celtics....very professional.

As much of a class act as Ray is, the local papers should have a countdown on the front page to breaking the record!  I believe it's 13 and counting, right?

    Current stats

Reggie Miller  2,560 3pt shots made
Ray Allen      2,548 3pt shots made (and counting)

I'm saying he breaks Reggie's record against LA, but if the C's somehow manage to keep playing like they did in the 2nd half last game, it could come against Orlando.

Don't look now.  Ray's already got 2 more in the 1st quarter against Sac.

If he gets to 1 short of, on the road, do you think he purposely waits until the next home game to shoot the next one? I hope so!

Do you honestly think someone as competitive as he is holds off on anything. No way. If he gets the shot its going up, and probably going in.

I didn't say i thought that..i threw the question out there to see what others think. That's all. I prefer he do it at home but will just be happy that he has done it at all.

How about this, I hope he breaks the record in Boston but I don't think he alters his game in any way because of the record.

I just hope it's at home in the TD Garden.  I think after last night's game in Sacramento, he needs either 10 or 11 more.

When talking the Big 3, Ray is almost always number 3.  I am not saying this is right or wrong, just KG and PP get more focus.

Anyway the 3 point record gives Ray his moment to shine away from KG and PP and he has earned this moment ten-fold.

I hope all can appreciate this record being broken. This really is a huge personal achievement. No one in the game works harder at his trade, no one his age in the Association is as productive. He really is amazing.

3 to tie 4 to break Reggie Miller's record.

How sweet if Ray breaks the record at home against Kobe and the Lakers.

    HAHAHA!!!
