Relevant again

On another thread, people were debating how long was an acceptable wait for the Celtics to become relevant again after KG and PP ride off into the sunset.
I'm willing to say I have no idea, but . . .
I'll go on record here and now and say that it will be before the Lakers become relevant again after Kobe retires. :-)
Get back to me in a few years.

Our relevance has nothing to do with Laker relevance.
We've been given a reprieve this year and as such, it needs to be enjoyed for what it is. A reprieve... a bonus... something we didn't expect.
Serendipity.
So enjoy it.
Life is a crap shoot.

During football season all ESPN talked about was the Jets.
Now all they talk about is the Lakers.
Both teams aren't any good.

Why do I suddenly feel sorry I posted this?
I meant nothing by it except that I believe the Celts will rebuild more quickly than the Lakers . . . why so grumpy everyone?

Jimmy Buss is so incompetent, it's going to take the Lakers at least 10 years before they become relevant again.

I've been saying that since Mike Brown became the coach of the Lakers.
Jimmy Buss is so incompetent, it's going to take the Lakers at least 10 years before they become relevant again.
Or do you mean because of 39 yr old(noD) pt guard and ball hog leader???
Or is it the Lazy Center with the bad back and shoulder??

Amen to that....Sully is my favorite "young-un".....love the Bradley/Lee backcourt.....Jeff Green has a high ceiling and looks like he is on the verge of a breakout season....I love Barbosa's energy....KG and CPP still can bring it.....and the Lakers are done...it's all good...!

It would be very difficult for Sully to become an All-Star. But he's definitely a double-double guy.
