Report: Wolves Believe Celtics Have Best Trade Offer for Kevin Love
The Minnesota Timberwolves believe that the Boston Celtics trade offer for Kevin Love is likely going to be the best package they are going to get, according to a new report. Will the Spurs' Finals Win Break Up the Heat's Big Three?
I also heard this about Love and believe their is a good chance he ends up with the Celtics.  Just not sure who else the Celtics will add to improve this team or may wait until next year to add pieces to make the Celtics a contender again.

any deal has to include Gerald Wallace. Boston won't be able to build a team around Love and Rondo with Wallace's contract holding up all the cap space.

Sully and 3 1st rounders is fair. He's much younger than KG was when we got him. It'd be best if we could do the #6, a 2015 1st, and a 2016 1st. With the #17 we can get a starting-caliber 2 pr 3 who can shoot. And if we could get them to take back Wallace, which I doubt, all the better.

rondo-Bradley-green-love-asik. Bench would include #17, olynyk, bass?, bayless?, pressey? Fav?

it's a start. And it's better than just rolling over and playing dead while lebron constructs his next super-team.

Agreed. Its like a 5 or 6 for 1 trade. He's good but not that  good.  Who will be left to play with him?  Especially if Rondo leaves next year.

Do you think that DA will just stop making changes and acquiring players after he gets Kevin Love?

    Just one question:

If Love is so good, why is Minny so bad?
....and that's the question all the Love supporters can't answer.  He can't even get them an 8th seed.

    We should buyout Wallace.

    Trade Green for Asik

    re-sign Bradley

sign for one year Caron Butler, Paul Pierce and Jodie Meeks.

get a second round pick, and take Smith

    Rondo/Smith    Bradley/Meeks        Butler/Pierce/Johnson        Love/Bass         Asik/Fav/Oly

    Nice team

"Climb on my back, boys, and I'll take you home." - Cedric Maxwell

"You show me a good loser, and I'll show you a loser." - Red Auerbach

"My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought, cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives." - Hedley Lamarr

If no Bynum injury, no Gasol trade - last word!!

agree 100% Many fans seem to want to compare the kg and kevin love trade while failing to factor in the age difference. How may times in nba history has a top 5 scorer been available in trade at that stage of their career (early to mid 20's)?.

Plus he is a top 5 rebounder TOO.  While avg over 4.5 apg. The guy is the total package on the offensive end and the glass. He is def worth sully + 3 1st's that is fair. No need to offer more than that becuz no one can top that offer.

Minnesota is fairly terrible at putting together balanced teams. They gave up on Big Al and Gerald Green too early, as well as whiffed on multiple draft picks. Waited a year for Rubio to come in and be mediocre at best.

Peirce, KG, and Ray all languished on some pretty bad teams while putting up big numbers, they turned out pretty good. What's the difference here?

We could throw in Mike Napoli, and they could sell him to the Twins for cash.  He isn't doing the sox much good anyhow.

    VtFan,

Let's hear your plan?  You're against tanking. What are you going to do to make get Cs better without giving up assets via trade?

Sullinger + 3 picks is fair as there will be a salary dump associated with it as well.  Wallace + Bognas?  Bass + Joel Anthony?

I really like Rondo, Afflalo, Melo,  Love and Asik

Not sure we could pull it off but I like that 5 in the East.

    No.

Right now, Embiid, Jabari, and Wiggins have more value than Kevin Love.
Disagree.

We could get the Number 1 for #6, #17 and a BK pick
Not true. I've answered it. I'm surprised this question even needs to be asked. The answer is management, plain and simple. The problem with that entire franchise since it's inception, has been management. They completely suck at putting puzzles together. Who does Love have on that team with him of any relevance? Rubio? Has been irrelevant. Pekovic? Mediocre. Martin? Good shooter who does nothing else. Dieng? Potential started to show at the end of the season (too little, too late). Adelman? Retirement was long overdue. That doesn't look like much, for a management group who's been rebuilding that team for.... how long now? And even with a box of spare parts, Love guided them to a .500 record (40-42). Which isn't good enough in the tough Western Conference. Don't downplay this young mans talent by putting the entire weight of that cheap, egotistically-driven franchise's failures on him. A good person to ask that question too would be KG. I highly doubt he'd put the blame on Love. Unless he felt compelled to give you the "PC" version.

For a guy who's busting his hump every night, with averages of 26 points and 13 boards, trying his best to propel that mess of a team into relevance, I'd be laying into some teammates too. Averaging 13 boards per game for a 6'10 white guy screams WORKER!
