Rondo 5th in Defensive Play of year voting.

Dwight Howard won defensive player of the year, followed  by Kevin Garnett who finished in second place. Tyson Chandler was in third followed by Tony Allen (miss him, miss him) and Rajon Rondo rounded out the top five.

Its a real shame that Rondo is so underappreciated here at BDC.

Maybe he should demand a trade.Cry He and Perk might make a great duo.

That's a joke.  Even old man Billups blows by him with ease.  I think his defense is worse than his shooting.  Derek Fisher may be the only guy that he can stay in front of.

I'm suprised your head didn't explode when you heard the news. So in addition to being the best passer in the league, one of the best rebounding point guards in the league, he is also apprently the best defensive point guard in the league. Second year running btw.

Yes, mr Big shot was shooting 27% from the field. Talk about dominating a game. Billups was on fire.

I also miss TA.  It is really a shame that he is not still with the Celtics.

YES!  thats great news about Rondo...maybe we can still dupe other teams into getting someone good in return for him in a trade.

We will be lucky to win the championship this year with Rondo on this team.

Let's pray to the gods he gets injured or something so another player can replace him ASAP!

It is ridiculous the hate Rondo gets here. Does anybody remember what we were playing like when Nate was starting with Rondo hurt?

Yes the last think we want is a guy coming close to a triple double in a playoff series.

I think what they meant was Rondo was 5th in voting for defensive play of the year... related to how his play assisted other teams defenses to defend the Celtics.
