    Bumping this.

For some reason no one seems to care what the stats say.

Celtics have been better on O with Rondo this year.

Not saying that means they are better with him or that Rondo isn't satan.

Just thought people might, you know, like to actually see the stats.

Re: Rondo effect on offense this year.

Rondo's loss has had a secondary effect.  There are players with a bigger sandbox on the floor.  They seem excited to have a better sandbox.  They seem to be playing better.  However, it does not mean that overall this is a better thing.  But that is OK as many posters here lack the ability to comprehend the big picture.

The only positive thing about Rondo's injury is that we can hope that with better sandbox, guys with potential will discover latent abilities and truly grow as players.  I am singling out AB, Jeff Green and Melo.  All seem to have potential to be much better than what they are right now. Unfortunately Sullinger is out or I would add him to the list as well.

This is still an interesting season even though the Celts chance to do much damage in the playoffs is diminished.  It is interesting because we will know more about the pathway the Celts will be taking towards rebuilding.
