Rondo needs to get out of his funk - or let West take over

Whatever is going on with Rondo, he needs to address it - and soon. Is it his feet? His ankle? His anger over the Perkins trade?  Whatever it is, he needs to get over it. Tonight, once again, he walked the ball up the court, couldn't penetrate, and had few assists.  (We can be grateful that he finally hit some open jumpers.)  It didn't go unnoticed by the New Orleans announcers that the "bench" (re: West and Davis) turned this game around.

Without a good Rondo, Boston does not win a championship.

Doc is letting Rondo figure it out. Benching Rondo will only create self-doubt. If the Celtics are to win a championship they Rondo to be at his best.

Some of you might not believe it but it's a guarantee that if Rondo struggles in the playoffs Doc will not hesitate to let Delonte run the show. Doc already did this in the 2008 playoffs when House or Cassell was the PG late in the 4th qtr.

I definitly agree that Rondo is the most important player for the Celtics.  When Rondo struggles, the Celtics usually lose.

I believe Doc is correct in letting him continue to work his struggles out on the floor. He has proven his worth many times over to the team. He makes everyone around him better when he is playing like his normal self. He'll come around.
