And I thought that Aaron Brooks outplayed Rondo by a considerable margin while Brooks was in the game.

Aaron Brooks was a great pick up by the Suns. How did they get him. Was it a trade, was he bought out? -

How dare you say that about Rondo. You should be banned from this board you traitor! All hail to the great Rondo. The greatest point guard of all time....and whose shot will get better. -

i love rondo; but brooks took it to rondo when he was with houston. and brooka took it to rondo tonight. Brooks is quick and can shoot lights out when he gets on a role. not a very good passer though. -

nope..rondo is terrible..worst point guard in the league. if we had brooks we would be undefeated.seriously tho, wen rondo lovers make these posts it gives the haters material bc WHENEVER he has a bad game they will come out saying "rondo lovers comment the moment he has a good game." its bull, but sorta true. the diff is, every 4 out of 5 games rondo has an average game. and thats wen youll see dudder jump out with the "rondo sucks, has no jump shot" claim. -

Brooks outplayed Bradley and the backups. Once The Brain Dead Doc got the starters back in Rondo and the starters shut down Brooks for the most part. -

Brooks had 17pts, 7 assists. Rondo had 16pts, 15assists..who was the best pg on the floor again? -

well he did miss two shots tonight. I mean, common, they should have cut him, before the trading deadline or bought him out so another team might be crazy enough to pick him up. 16 pts and 15 assists just is not gonna cut it. If he doesnt pick it up soon, back to the bush league.Doc rivers could suit up. -

I like Rondo but c'mon, Nash is about 900 years old. -

Two good games in a row for Rondo. He orchestrated most of the game like a Meistro. (Spelling)??? -

....the only thing, I cringed everytime he gets to the foul line.
he's still a hit or miss shooter but shine in the other areas. -

Brooks came in and had to play desperation mode basketball which worked for a while but then was exposed as he turned the ball over three times after Rondo came back in. Brooks looked pretty fancy for a while. Fortunately Rondo didn't have to look fancy as his team was up by a sustantial margin.
Brooks is a good player but there are reasons he got dumped by Houston. -

First most of Brooks damage was done when he was playing the second unit. Second Brooks is a scorer who occasionally makes a good pass and frequently makes very bad passes. Brooks is a good player but you really can't compare him to Rondo tonight. Rondo was a complete PG who got his team to a 25 point lead and then saved the game at the end with his defense on Brooks.
Brooks got it going in desperation mode for a while but then when he was shut down he didn't know how to switch it up an be a team player. Several times when they actually got it close enough to make a game of it Brooks went flying around out of control and turned the ball over. -

Rebounds: Rondo 5, Brooks 0
Blocks: Rondo 1, Brooks 0
Turnovers: Rondo 1, Brooks 3
Steals: Rondo 3, Brooks 2
Never mind. I keep forgetting that the only thing that counts in evaluating PGs is how many points they score. -

Anyone that thinks Brooks was the best PG on the floor tonight probably thinks Avery was the second best. -

Brooks was the hottest shooting point guard. He is what Nate should have been for the Celtics. -

It's hard to compare sometimes. Nash is ? 10yrs older. Brooks can be offensively explosive (also Nash but he is slowing down some). RR plays w/ better players
